DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is unreliable. It gets alarmingly hot. Several times I have left my laptop charging overnight and come back to find the battery nearly or completely dead. The only thing that seems to work semi-consistently is to shut down my laptop before charging for an extended period of time. It seems to charge acceptably under those conditions, but I should not have to do that.

Initially had a problem; company corrected it immediately rectified it and all works fine.

Overheats often, then stopped working entirely after 8 months.

I purchased one of these adapters to let me reuse a power supply from an older MacBook when I upgraded the laptop. It charged ok (for 60W) when the laptop was awake and running, though it gets pretty warm. The big problem, however, was that several time when the laptop went to sleep because I'd walked away, I'd return some hours later to find its battery completely discharged. This didn't happen with the new laptop's Apple power supply, nor with another third-party USB-C power supply I purchased to replace the Ebeylo adapter, so I am pretty sure the problem was the adapter.

I use my work laptop for my personal use. Many times I leave charger at my workplace. I had this old Mac’s charger but I couldn’t use it with new Mac from work. That’s the reason I bought this adapter. This piece stopped working in 2nd week itself. I guess I would have used it merely 2-3 times. Luckily, free returns option was available. Thinking I got one odd defective piece I opted to get a free replacement by Amazon. Although the 2nd piece is still in working condition I noticed it gets super hot even without connecting to Mac (it is powered but not connected to laptop). I hardly remember any adapter behaves like that which means it is poorly constructed. I can see it is going to break down as I use it/frequently use it. Stay away from this piece of junk.

If you happen to have an old mac charger and would like to use it on the new macs.. this is a really good accessory. It charges the Mac at full power. The only problem is it heats up while charging but that does not the charging!

I needed an adapter to be able to use my 2018 Macbook Pro with the power adapter from my previous computer. That's what this Ebeylo adapter is for. But it seems to be poor quality; it does not maintain the connection and keeps going off. It's also hot to touch, even when not connected to the computer.

I use it on my iPad pro, it works fine but when I plug it into my MacBook Pro, the intended device, it heats up and stops charging, also it will drain battery if left overnight
