Disappointingly narrow topic.
While admittedly a rather obscure topic, I was rather disappointed that it did not cover more different KINDS of aircraft used in the 'night bomber' role. Essentially, this book concerns itself with ONE kind of plane, the AEG n1, and a bit about the Sablatnig as well. The others mentioned are pointless in that they never went into production and never proceeded beyond the prototype phase. I think it would have been better to combine the AEG n1 with the AEG GIVn in a single book, and/or some mention about the other types of 'regular' C-type aircraft that were used in the night bombing role, some discussion of the types of missions, units, targets and effectiveness of these planes, because in the book given, there is precious little discussion of anything meaningful.

A geat new WW1 aviation book
I have an extensive WW1 aviation libary that I use in my model building, these 2 new titles cover subjects that I was not familiar with. The large photos are clear and show great detail, the 3 view drawings were a plesant surprise and the color side views bring the black and white photos to life

Nachtflugzeug
A very informative book on a very obscure subjectLess than 50 N types were in service at any one time in the last year of the war, so there's not a lot of text. But that is more than made up for with copious photos, drawings and color profiles

Great Book in N-I German Planes
I bought the electronic version available from the Aeronaut books. The books is great in a very obscure subject of N.I planes from German on WWI.You got a lot of unknown pictures with the book and the 3d view of BFW N.I is worthy the price for the whole book. The profiles are very nice, too.Great buy!!!

Short but useful.
This is a nice little book that deals with one of the most obscure aircraft types of the Great War, the German N-types. For those unfamiliar with this aircraft type, the N-types were obsolete army-cooperation designs who had been redesigned with wings of increased span and a reenforced airframe allowing them to carry heavy bomb loads despite being quite under powered. N-type aircraft were issued to bomber and army cooperation squadrons in small numbers for night harassment attacks. The N-types (and their allied counterparts) pioneered a tactic that was later developed into a fine art by the more famous Soviet "Night Witches" who made the lives of Nazi troops so miserable during WWII that their harassment tactics were later used with equal success against US troops during the Korean War. Published data on the N-types is quite rare and that fact alone makes this book worth buying if you are interested in WWI bombers. The book contains a short history of each of the N-types accompanied by a number of photographs, artwork and 3-view drawings. Both operational aircraft and prototypes are covered. I had seen some of the photos in this book before but strewn in ones and twos over a multitude of other publications but many photos in this book were also new to me.

excellent content. poor quality paper
Excellent subject and text with rare pictures and nice illustrations let down by poor quality paper which decreases the clarity of the photos and makes the colour of the illustrations look muddy and uninspired. This is a shame

Interessantes Randthema - hier schön zusammengefasst
Jack Herris Buch "Nachtflugzeug!
