A scam definitly, good speakers or good deal definitly NOT!
Since the move from vaccum tubes in home audio people dont understand what a clean signal or whats known as clean power true audiofiles know this to be the only way to experience home theatre bliss. If u crank up ur home theatre system & u dont feel the hairs on the back of ur neck tingle or get that electric jolt that goes down ur spine & all the way out the tips of your toes then u arent hearing sound as it should be. All current stereos suck in comparison to vaccum tube audio. Dont believe me? Go try it out at ur local hifi dealer

What not to buy and where not to buy it!
I've bought things out of vans before and its worked out pretty good for me. Really can't complain here either. Was in Claypool AZ and had a couple of guys claiming to be installers sell me a system. I bought it for a birthday gift and I only paid a hundred for it. They were claiming it was a $3000 dollar system but if you read the box you know it has no receiver in it.Took it to my buddy and he really likes it. I read another review that said you could get smaller speakers cheaper, but maybe that's not what you want. Hooked up to my buddy's plasma they look REALLY impressive. I don't know if any of you remember or even know what an old school sound system sounds like. The death of vacuum tubes pretty much ended the generation of quality sound. So I don't think these speakers sound any better or worse than other systems but they do look good.

White Van Scam
I found this Scam in Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec Canada ... I was walking through a grocery store parking lot, and this SUV pulled around and a guy told me about all of these systems he had, and his boss told him he had to sell them cheap. ...I didn't have my phone on hand to google the product. I asked if I could use his, to look it up, and he did. So, on the first page of the Google results, (on his phone), there was the website, (which I went to), and when I hit "back" to go to the next page for results to see customer reviews--that was when he took his phone away to make a call.Don't buy this unless you accept up front that it is a "white-van" scam. The speakers themselves do not have any inputs other than old school home theater wire plugins. You will need a receiver. These guys overprice these quite a bit, and will probably sell to you for 50 bucks, or less. The speakers are okay, if not too big, for computer speakers if you happen to have a receiver. You can get better speakers, and smaller, at the $50.00 price, (Logitech, etc).

Thanks for the heads up on the scam! I was approached today just outside of DC in a parking lot. Thank goodness for cell phones so I could look it up & see the same MO. Black SUV, sketchy story about having too much product on home construction. I just walked away.
