I bought this to use with shielded cat6 connectors.
This product was recommended to me by a person that installs networks for a living. He was right the product works as it is supposed to. I test all of my connections and so far they have all passed the test. That works for me.

Buy it for shielded CAT6a connectors
Built solid, crimps good. This is what you need if you are trying to crimp Cat6a Cable. The crimper built into the handle for crimping the metal strain relief/grounding tab is a bit bogus though. It’s the same one found on other similar tools but it’s just not shaped right for a thick cable and will cause the tabs to crush. You can probably use it if you were using a cat5 cable with a drain wire but definitely not for a 23 gauge CAT6a.Almost identical to the Platinum Tools Teletitan (highly rated by networking nerds) but $20 less and this specific tool has an additional toggle switch which allows you to crimp both shielded CAT6a connectors as well as standard RJ45 connectors which require punching down the plastic strain relief tab built into the connector... the same tab which does not exist on proper CAT6a connectors. Basically if you use a regular crimper on a CAT6a connector, you will crush the cables and cause a fault/short on your connection (I found out the hard way).

Great tool
Love the crimp tool works great and is very ergonomic. The stripper that comes with it leaves a lot to be desired but the crimp tool itself is great.

Quality crimper, one of the few available for Cat7
Nice crimper, fairly sturdy. Purchased to do Cat7 which it does nicely. So far all crimps have been solid with no crooked pins. Until it’s been used a bit getting the ends inserted and removed can be a little tough.

Good value priced below alternatives.
It hasn't failed a termination and has more capability than the Platinum version. Time will tell on the durability but it feels okay for now.

Works
Works just as well as the more expensive ones and had the feature to do cat5 and cat6 with a simple screw adjustment.
