Great hairpins for a French twist. Many, many pins

I have thick hair and a lot of it. So, my hairdo is pretty heavy, due to that I need sturdy and longer hairpins. I bought these as a try, and happy to see that they hold my hair. Definitely recommend for people who need stronger hold for their hair. Might be too heavy for very thin hair types.

As mentioned in the headline the black paint coating comes off pretty quickly. I can use one in the morning and by the afternoon when I take them out it is already peeling paint. Otherwise they are pretty decent. They hold shape pretty well.

The pins are of a good size and quantity, but I have found them to not be an incredible quality. The first box I received was falling apart, so I exchanged for a replacement. Within this second box, multiple pins are missing one or both of the balls at the end of the pin that allow the edges not to catch, so I have to examine the pin before using it instead of just grabbing it from the box. There are definitely enough within the box to use, and they work, but I do wish the overall quality of the product was higher.

These are great. I bought the 3 in and they work perfectly in my hair which is a medium thickness. They stay in, they are comfortable and sturdy. A box will last a very long time. This was the answer for me as I hate Bobby pins. Great to use for any kind of messy bun.
