Does the r value change based on how it is installed( inlayed versus rolled with air gap)?

Does this work in Minnesota? Most of the reviews that I’ve read are for down south.

The outside temps have dropped below freezing, garage is heated, however I’m sure the door panel are cold, is there a minn temp to install at?

The instructions I had he’d me apply the double-sided tape to the door, pre-cut/fit all of the panels, then remove the paper from the second side tape and let the tape “tack up” for 24 hours if the temperature was below 50 Degrees Fahrenheit. This was referring to applying the actual panels to the double-sided tape. Not sure this helps.
