These fit perfectly on my dogs collars to hold their tags safely. I haven’t lost a dog tag since I bought these clips. They’re sturdy and rain has not dulled their shine. I bought a second set for my grandchildren’s dogs.

I am concerned it may not be reliable. I check my pets collar daily to make sure her ID tag is still attached to her collar

Bought for a small dogs collar. They were too big

Urban dogs are required to have a dog license and a rabies tag and usually a ID tag. These tag clips are great when used with a collar that has a breakaway tag clip. My older Airedale got his tags caught in a furnace vent and pulled out the entire vent to free himself. The younger Airedale got the tag ring caught in the carpet and freed herself through the breakaway collar. I bought this tag holder because it is less likely to snag carpet. AGAIN, you need a collar with a breakaway tag holder used in conjunction with this tag holder to keep your dog safe.

I've tried other easy change dog clips in the past but these are the nicest ever! I bought the package with 3 sizes because I wasn't sure, even after reading the description and reviews. Our boy is an 80 lb. Golden Retriever. His main collar has an especially thick D ring. From the description he would take a large clip but I didn't want it to hang down too low. As it turns out the medium clip paired with the small ring works perfectly. The medium ring would've worked fine as well; it's not much bigger. I'm very happy! (The photos show a Red Dingo medium Celtic knot tag and the small-medium-large rings. Exact measurements are in the description.)

The old tag clip I was using from a different brand wore out and we nearly lost all the dog tags! I went hunting for something sturdier and found these. I wasn't sure which size to buy to attach my dog's tags to, so I went ahead and picked up this three-pack. The small size ended up being perfect to attach his tags to his collar, and I can use the medium size one if I change my mind. The large size is perfect for attaching a keychain to my car keys, too, so I'm able to use all three of them!

This clip was exactly what I was looking for. It makes it so much easier to switch my dog's tags from one collar to another when it needs to be washed. I wasn't sure of the right size so bought the pack of 3 of different sizes, but I wouldn't use anything but the smallest one. Though my dog is a fairly large (64-pound) standard poodle, I think that one of the larger clips would probably hang down too far on her.

So easy with these clips to transfer tags among our dogs collars! Martingale collars are great for walking our greyhound, but they pose a strangle risk if they get caught indoors on a crate etc. This is the perfect solution. Just move the tags from collar to collar.
