The best I've found
After an injury, I've tried a wide variety of knee braces, sleeves and straps, including several recommended by orthopedic medical practitioners and physical therapists. All the others have been disappointing in some way, and It seems that I'm particularly difficult to fit. The Physix brace is the first one that offers a size that is large enough, but not too large, and adjustable enough to accommodate my rather short, stout legs. I have been able to stand and walk, including climbing a lot of stairs, while trying to recover without further injury. The Physix braces stay in place very well, without having to be pulled too tight. Nothing is perfect, but this brace has provided me with considerable relief and protection during a long and difficult process. The only downside I've seen is a slight tendency for the stitching to fray. It's not severe so far, and if they do give out before I stop needing them, I'll probably reorder. Recommended for those who need them.

Not At ALL What I was Expecting...
From the item description, I was expecting this to be a sleeve-type brace with side reinforcements and adjustable straps. What I actually got was a one-piece thing that had to be attached to itself with the 3 straps (above, around, and below the knee). It felt uncomfortable from the get-go, and the finish quality was poor [especially around the patella cutout]. The straps themselves seemed quite good, in terms of being snug when they attached. But they also readily tangled together when undone, which made getting the thing on a chore, and I just had the feeling that unless I tightened it down hard enough to cut off circulation, it was not going to stay in place. It's a shame. the sleeves that I have had from them are quite good, but they are not available in my size. So back to the drawing board.

It's Been A Lifesaver
I bought this with skepticism thinking that it would be like every other contraption that I bought for my knee. I was wrong. This is exactly what I needed. Fits perfectly. Stabilizes my knee so that my torn meniscus and arthritis don't kill me when I walk. I would highly recommend it to anyone with knee pain or who needs medium support for a knee injury. It has totally been a lifesaver for me as I have waited well over a month for an appointment with an ortho.

Great Brace
I have an arthritic knee. This brace is the best support I have found, and I've tried several other brands. It is sturdy, the Velcro straps are solidly constructed, the material is strong. It is very comfortable. I use it walking and mowing the lawn --- there is no sweating or excessive heating underneath the brace. The width is just right, covering just above and below the knee, so it is not cumbersome. I used to wear braces and then take them off during the day, because they were irritating. This does not irritate. The support it provides is very good -- I have a noticeable limp without using a brace, and with this brace there is no limp or pain. The price you can't beat!

works very well
Since I've been wearing it my knee feels very stable, and hurts quite a bit less than before. Also, it holds the knee in place so it doesn't shift out of alignment. It's not as bulky as the one I had been using, and yet it stays in place and doesn't slip down like the other one did. Altogether I am very pleased with this and it wasn't even expensive.

Just What I Needed
This knee brace works exactly the way I needed it to. I play table tennis from time to time and my knee started bothering me from playing too much. I also walk a lot for work. I wore the brace for about a month while laying off of the table tennis and my knee is back to normal. I only wear it when playing table tennis now. It gives my knee the support and stability it needs, and gives me the confidence to continue playing. The only negative is that it has a tendency to bunch up in the back of my knee. That only bothered me when I would wear it all day for work. Even then it was not anything but just a little irritating.

world of difference
look, i have not shopped for these kind of things like ever, but i am older and finally had some knee pain so decided to just look at the idea of buying a brace. i found this one and its about the cheapest one i could find. i bought 2. my roomatr does have knee problems (surgery and so forth) and i offered her to try one of my new ones. since i have no true comparison, i asked what she thought and she was suprised how good it was for the price. hers was at least 50 and was compareable. in my case, and for most buying for the first time...get something! its going to make a difference!

( MEASURE ) make sure returns are hassle free
Top of brace was a little large if you are in between regular size & plus size find a regular size brace that has larger sizes it took me 4 braces before i found one that fit right, comfortable & gave me the stability I needed I have psoriatic arthritis then injuryed my right knee had surgery to repair it & had the damage from psoriatic arthritis scraped from the knee cap & some bone spares removed if u carry your weight in your thighs like I do make sure you measure the top of your thigh & calve correctly when they say 18 or 19 inches rhe Velcro might not hook all the way around brace & rub your leg

Actually is XL! Great knee support :)
This is a very good support for big legs and swollen knees. Very adjustable and genuinely is XL. My legs fall into the middle of the measurements given by the seller and as you can see from the photo, it fits with plenty of adjustment. It also doesn't come up too high above the knee, which helps when you have big thighs like mine.I have had lots of knee supports over the years which creep or roll - usually because they're far too tight/ high on the thigh. This one doesn't do either, although it sometimes slips down a little, so I prefer to wear it over leggings so I can adjust it as necessary. It is fairly bulky so you would struggle to wear it under jeans unless they were pretty loose.I have a very badly damaged knee. It's totally ruined and nothing except a knee replacement is ever going to fix it. This knee support helps. It isn't a miracle cure, but it certainly helps give enough support and compression to make a difference... and I'll take whatever help I can get at this stage!Really can't complain about the product in any way. It is well designed, affordable, very adjustable and just supportive enough to make a difference without being too restrictive. Very happy customer!

Effective Knee Support - especially for larger knees
I have a completely torn meniscus caused by rheumatoid arthritis and hyper mobility in my knee. I bought this to keep me walking while waiting for surgery on my knee. By stabilising the joint I feel it is helping to prevent further damage. This has enabled me to walk my dog. I also feel I am starting to heal and am now hoping that by wearing this support and keeping exercising I can minimise or even avoid the need for the surgery.I bought two supports (from Neo G and Physix) because the Neo G looked like it was out of stock for a month but I could get the Physix one the next day. They actually both turned up the next day so I have been able to directly compare both products. They are both really similar and both equally effective. One note of caution. I bought the largest size available in the Neo G support (I am a UK size 18) and it was initially very tight. This was partly because the injury had made my knee swell considerably more than my other knee (more than 15cm larger). I also bought a similar product from Physix Gear Knee Braces - I bought the XL size and this was much more comfortable. After wearing the Physix one for a week I was able to wear the Neo G support as the swelling had decreased. Both supports are equally effective - the difference is that the Physix one fits a wider knee. The Neo G one is made from thinner material so is more comfortable in warmer weather but be warned that if your knee measures more than 58 cm the Neo G will be too tight to be wearable. The tightness of the Neo G product currently keeps it in place better only leg but the Physix one is more comfortable. Both are still infinitely preferable to the pain of walking without the support.

Great Product!
I have found this brace very good (have knee osteoarthritis) and wear it a lot when having to stand. When my knee is particularly bad I wear it in bed also. Makes my knee feel secure when having to stand for a while. Would certainly recommend.
