Flint Fire Starter English Flint Stone Steel Striker Kit Primitive Fire Starter with Jute Tinder Tin Box Pocket Bellow

Great little kit to keep in my truck at all times so I may never worry about producing fire again. Good steel, and chirt rock. Also the little blower is a cool little add on to the kit.

As a beginner, this kit is sufficient. It comes packaged as described and I like that the storage tin doubles as a container to make char cloth in. I’m only disappointed that one of the flint stones is incredibly soft and does not produce good spark.

Seems the striker may not be hard enough to effect a spark with the flint, could also be the unfinished rough edge of the striker as well. Will smooth it out and try another day

After waiting almost, a month for this product to arrive, I received the flint and steel today and It was not what I expected. The steel looked like it just came out of the fire and water hardening process then left it for me to finish the work. The one rock that came with the steel didn’t have any sharp edges and I could not get any sparks. This product was not worth the price I paid. A total WASTE of my money because now I have to pay a blacksmith to finish what this seller supposedly started and I have to find better Churt.

this isn't as easy as some people make it look. It will take practice. Great Kit!

I Liked the tin and how it all fit and also how durable the steel is.

I've used flint strikers that were made by smiths and never found any too small. This one is too small. Four of my finger will not fit in it. If I use it with three fingers in and one out I will eventually cut myself. Another two cents worth of steel would have made a tool instead of a toy.
