Very happy with this product
Came quick . Easy to install . Made my bike run much quieter ( the stock spring was just loosely hanging there no tension on it at all, way too long) I did mine at a klr tech day and watched 3 other guys do theirs they all had no tension on the stock spring one them only had 4000 mi on the bike. Definitely replace your doohickey spring. Don't forget to check for deep hole syndrome if you have an 08 or early 09 bike .

If you buy the Doo hickey you have to buy the upgraded torsion spring separate

Better design than the factory!
Worked as described , I would recommend watching a YouTube video before attempting to install this. The instructions are alright but not enough.

Worth installing
I don’t understand why this isn’t just part of the doohickey upgrade kit. No one uses the original type spring because this is the best solution.
