An unstoppable force meets an indominatible will!
Collecting issues #224-230 of Amazing Spiderman, this book contains the legendary two-part story "Nothing can stop the Juggernaut!" There are some other great stories in here; including a fight with the Vulture at a retirement home, a showdown with the Foolkiller (who has a close connection with Peter Parker), and the Black Cat trying to go legit. Most of the stories here are written by Roger Stern with art by John Romita Jr. Some fans don't like JR jr's style, but I happen to be a big fan, especially of his early art, which is present here. Of course, the main selling point here is the Juggernaut two-parter, which is well worth the price. Spidey throws everything at old Juggy, and doesn't even slow him down! You'll have to see for yourself how he finally stops him, because I won't spoil it. It's pretty cool

Spider-Man at his best!!
I'll keep this short and simple. If you like Spider-Man, and you have never read the comics that are collected in this book, then you have missed some of the best Spider-Man stories ever published. This one gets my highest recommendation.

Roger Stern Spider-Man Can`t be Beat
Stern, by this time an experienced Spider-Man writer and a former editor of the X-Men combines this collection of stories with a confrontation between the classic Marvel hero and the X-Men`s implacable villain in an iconic and very entertaining way. Spider-Man fans will love this book!!

classic david vs goliath
THIS IS TO ME ONE OF THE BEST SPIDERMAN STORIES OF ALL TIME. jUGGERNAUT IS A CLASSIC X-MEN VILLIAN. SPIDERMAN USES EVERYTHING HE CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO FIGHT AND ULTIMATELY STOP JUGGY IN HIS TRACKS. HE HAS NO PROF X TO HELP HIM JUST THE HEART OF A HERO.

High point in a very good run
Stern's run on Spider-Man lacks some of the tremendous respect still given to many other Marvel books of the time. And truth be told, this is not without reason- it doesn't rebuild the characters the way Byrne's FF did, or completely re-imagine them, like Miller on Daredevil. It certainly lacked the undying fan devotion of Claremont's X-Men.But there is no shame in not being able to run at the head of that pack. Stern polished rather then rebuilt, added to rather then re-created. His take on Spidey was quite simply fun, even when it went into slightly dark territory. The work captured here is the writer at the height of his power(aside from, arguably, some of the Hobgoblin storyline), backed by some of the best art of his time. There aren't many Spider-Man books I'd recommend, but this is near the top of that list.

Spidey at his best.
One of the best Spidey stories ever. How do you stop the Juggernaut? Spidey doesn't know. But he isn't going to give up. Great Art from John Romita Jr. bringing you this presentation of Stern's writing.
