Nice product
These are easy to use, don't require air to work and heat up in seconds after activation. I also like that they are reusable. They are small enough to use in heat factory gloves. They last about 15 minutes if kept in your pocket after activation and exposed to cold air. Longer if you keep them inside your glove against your skin. I have Reynoud's and need something that will keep my fingers warm from the start so these don't quite do what I had hoped, but they are great for having in your pocket to activate if you need to warm your hands up after they get cold.

heats up fast!
They heat up instantly, and are reusable, which I would give 5 stars for. However, the heat only lasts for about 1 hour max. While this still works for me, since they are used mostly when waiting for the bus, I would not recommend these to someone who wants warmth throughout the day.

Go with something else
Mine held their temperature, at best, for 12 minutes. After you've activated the chip, the heat peaks after about 90 seconds and it just goes downhill from there. After about 10-12 minutes they're done and you have to go boil them to reactivate them. Also, boiling them becomes a pain after a while. I wouldn't mind boiling them if they held their heat longer, but the boiling/cooling process takes me around 25 minutes and the heat only lasts 10-12 minutes. If you're as time-crunched as me, consider going towards something that you could just throw in the microwave.

short term heat
I liked the idea of reusable hand warmers. They do heat up but are active for a very short time, like under 1 hour. Then they become heatless weight. I have used them in 5 degree weather working with horses inside of gloves. I was disappointed in how little time they were giving heat. I think I will use them as preheating my gloves or for warming a horse bit.

Good size; seams not strong enough
Shortly after receiving this product, I was using the pair under normal conditions, and one of the two hand warmers split at the edge seam and leaked some of the contents (sodium acetate) into my glove's hand warmer pocket. The plastic packet is not strong enough for normal use.

Great for treatment of dry eyes (not hands)
These heating pads are great for eyes if your eyes are dry, I got these originally for heating my hands, but ended up finding out that they were great for heating up my eyes opening my tear ducts, allowing my eyes to go from dry to moist, I will be ordering more of these for treating my eyes more often. For heating up my hands these are not quite enough heat to completely get my hands warm, so if you're thinking that these will help with cold hands during winter, I'd look an another product that offers more heat volume.

nice compact size for XC skiing
I got these for my son whose on the the Jr H nordic ski team. It gets pretty cold where they train and these have come in handy for him. They only stay warm for 20-30 minutes but that has been enough for him and he can easily stash these in his pocket. These are not as good as the chemical handwarmers but since you can reuse these they are more economical. Recharging is easy by placing in boiling water for awhile.
