Unconditional Love

Just purchased this.(Came out in 1991) I've always been a huge Glen Campbell fan, but somehow missed some of his albums from later in his career. (Country radio did him an injustice, by not playing his later music.) I love all the songs. If you're a Glen Campbell fan, I'm sure you will too. "No more not tonights, no more headaches when I want to hold you tight, baby I'm gone." Very upbeat & awesome guitar licks!"Once a Day"- Another very country style song of heartbreak, written by Bill Anderson, also with steel guitar and country piano."Light of a Clear Blue Morning"- Another upbeat song, written by Dolly Parton. Celebrating that the bad times are over; "Everything's gonna be all right, that's been all wrong." Also trust in God's Master plan; His love shines thru the dark times.Great ending to album.

This Glen Campbell album is different from his hit years but still very good. His singing abilities and large range make him one of the best singers we've ever had. He also knows when to sing tenderly as well as sing powerfully. A good CD.

what more can i say, another great one by a true legend. highly recommended to all!

The Legend known as Glen Campbell will live for generations through great music like this CD. Title track is great as are most every one. Buy it if you can find it.

This is my favorite Glen Campbell cd from the '90s. This is a very good cd. That didn't have any big hits. But showed That Glen still had it. This cd seems like it is more country then just about anything Glen had ever done. It doesn't have the heavy pop sounding orchestration that most of his recordings did.The title song Unconditional Love is about morals and values and the lessons that are handed down from generation to generation. A very good song. He does good versions of Healing Hands Of Time and Once A Day. My favorite two songs are Next To You which is another very good love song. And Somebody's Doing Me Right which is also a very good love song. And he does a very good song to end the cd with Dolly Parton's Light Of A Clear Blue Morning. He changes the words and makes it his song. The rest of the songs are good. Just a good cd from start to finish.

Unconditional Love seems to be quite unpopular in most circles, but upon my first listen, I was stunned by the production that haunted nineties country radio! In a way, it brought back great memories, even without knowing the songs. However, the songs are fantastic! Not known for his songwriting, Glen certainly knows what songs to record, and how to put his own spin on each. His voice, guitar, and overall ambiance make the album worth listening to!Highlights are: We Will, Livin' In a House of Love, and Somebody's Doing Me Right.
