AUVON Plug-in Night Light, Motion Sensor and Dusk to Dawn Sensor, 4 Packs

I wanted a light that wouldn’t be too bright and so the low light setting (1 lumen) is perfect for that. I also like the warm color. I want to be able to see but not mess up my night vision. I even use the brighter setting at 7 lumens in some rooms and it doesn’t bother me. I only use it on auto mode because I don’t need the lights to see during the day and I don’t want them on at night unless I need them. when I was first plugging them in and changing the mode, sometimes it seemed like the light was staying on in auto mode (in a bright room) so you might need to unplug and plug back in while it’s already switched to the setting you want. that said, once I got them plugged in on the setting I wanted, they’ve been fine since. I don’t switch them from auto mode though. there are a few things that annoy me a little, but it’s mostly just because of my house, not the product. I’m sharing it in case anyone else has a similar situation. first, my house is lacking windows in some parts. so depending on the time of day/weather, the lights will trigger despite it being bright enough to see because it is relatively dark. it’s better this way than not triggering when it’s dark though. there is also a bit of a delay (only about a second) which is ok but my hallway is short so by the time it turns on I could be halfway down the hallway. the angle of detection is pretty good (I would say what’s stated in the description is accurate) but depending on your hallway and the location of the light, it seems there’s a chance it might not reach you until you are closer to it if it’s not directly facing your path of motion. the detection range in front is much farther than I expected. I think I am going to move mine because the light in the kitchen triggers when I walk through the living room ~15 feet away. like I said, I think the range in the description is pretty accurate so it’s safe to use that as a guide. all that said, great purchase! might play with a few more locations in the house to see what works best but they do everything they’re advertised to do

These work better than I thought they would and light up the space with a soft light when motion is detected (and stay lit for about a minute or so)! When I bought this pack, I did not intend to keep all 4 plugged in, but my family and I loved them so much that we plugged them in at different parts of our home (we might even buy more). The light brightness is adjustable as well and the sensor works consistently and detects motion from many angles (there has never been a time it has not detected motion when it should have). My family and I plug these in at areas we want to be able to navigate through safely at night without turning on an overhead light or lamp. For example, I find one device provides enough light to navigate a hallway without turning on an additional light source. What is great about these too is that the device detects when the light is already sufficient in the space (for example an overhead light is on, or the natural light is lighting up the space), and does not turn on when other sources of light are sufficient. I would absolutely purchase again and recommend to friends.

I recently installed this night light in the hallway outside my son’s room and I’m really happy with how it’s working. The delivery was quick, the unit was straightforward to plug in, and setup took less than a minute. I appreciate that it has both a motion sensor and a dusk-to-dawn sensor. The light stays off when the room is bright, and when it’s dark it turns on and then when someone walks past it activates the motion sensor. It gives just enough gentle light to see the floor without being so bright that it wakes up the rest of the house. The manufacturer explains that it can detect motion in darkness (about 3-5 meters, 120° range) and auto-turns off after about 60 seconds. I can agree that this is a true fact as I have one plugged in my bathroom and when I pass the bathroom door it switches on. The warm white glow is very comfortable-looking and the adjustable brightness feature is a plus: you can dim it to a level that works for bedrooms or for late night checks. It’s subtle and doesn’t feel glaring.

Great little lights. Just the right brightness for a night light, with 2 brightness settings to adjust to your liking. Not sure what people are saying about it being too dim. It's supposed to be. It's a NIGHT light. Just enough light to allow you to see without tripping and breaking your leg, or being blinded by the regular bathroom light when you turn it on at 3am. Motion sensing works as perfect as it can be. It turns on if it detects the right amount of movement, and if the light levels in the room are bright enough it doesn't come on (usually). However, I do wish it had a light "sensitivity" adjustment. In one corner of my house where I placed one, the light is always dark enough for it to come on during any time of the day when there is movement. That's my only complaint. All other areas of the house, it works great. Doesn't come on during daylight hours, and only comes on at night with movement detected. They only stay on for about a minute after movement has ceased, and they don't even get warm. In the bathroom where I have a low hanging towel, it touches the top of the light, and I was always worried about it being a fire hazard with regular light bulbs. With these LED bulbs, they don't even get warm to the touch. It's perfect. I also use one in the laundry room which is between my garage and the house. There are steps going up to my house in the room, and I don't even turn on the main light anymore when I'm coming home from being out. This light just turns on automatically and is enough for me to see without tripping over the steps. Very good design. I am probably going to purchase 4 more for some other areas in my house.

Probably the best plug in night light product I found so far. Nice design, reliably working, warm yellow light with two operation modes (night/auto) and two illumination intensity (low/high) options. Very sensitive motion and ambient light sensors for automatic mode. Great for children's room. Good price/quality. Highly recommend buying it

I really like these night lights. There’s no batteries or charging needed as they plug directly into your wall outlets. For a subtle lighting effect that still provides enough light to make your path visible through your house, get the warm/white color temperature lights. The daylight color temperature lights would be better for people that have poor eyesight as they should be brighter. All in all, These lights get the job done. They're very reliable, I’ve owned mine for months and not one problem. I’m thinking of buying these as Christmas presents for family members.

Great nightlights for bathrooms and hallways. The motion sensor is nice so you don't have a light on all the time when you sleep. Love that you can adjust the brightness. Pack of 4 for a reasonable price. They are small so you can plug in other things still in the same outlet. Glad I switched to these nightlights

These are so good. We need to have a light on in the bathroom at night with little kids (and boyz....) But half of the house likes it pitch black at night. These are perfect for providing light when needed with the motion sensors!! The sensor has a good distance to active, not too sensitive and have always come on when entering the room. I also really like how there are levels of brightness to choose from. I am currently using the lowest brightness. It is a nice low light that fills the space and is bright enough to find the toilet at night, but it does not hurt your eye, or affect how you see when going back into a dark room. The bright is very bright if needed. There is also an option for the switch to turn on and off depending on the light that is in the room that works well if that is what you want. I am very happy with the lights and all the options that you have to choose from, depending on what room you want them in and your needs with the pack of 4. They function well and really enjoy the motion sensors!!! They are small but bright and doing take up too much plug space, I can still use the second plug above or below where this is plugged in. I would highly recommend these! VERY functional

Love these sensors, purchased 2 sets and we have them all around the house. They have everything you could ever want - dimmable light, auto on at dusk or motion detection at dusk. And the sensor works really well.
