This is the third purchase we've made from this store. This towel is different from their earlier "waffle weave" products. The ww were solid with raised threading (traditional waffle weave) while this product is a loose weave made up of strands of linen. The result is a checkered appearance with "holes" at the center of each checker box. This surprised us. You can't, for instance, use this as a towel in public to, um, hide yourself as it's like a woman's fishnet stockings...Once we got over the shock of a towel made up of cords of linen (so not solid), we tried it out. Surprisingly, it picks up water very well. And maybe it's because of the net-like composition, but it dries remarkably quickly--which is really important as our house is older and tends to remain humid after showers...The one thing we don't like about linen--and it's true of this towel, too--is the lint. We've washed this towel already five times since getting it about a week ago and we could make a shirt out of all the pieces of lint the towel throws off. And if one of the kids dries off with it, they're covered from feet to head (and all IN their hair) with lint. We're not sure how long it takes for this to stop as we have linen dishtowels from another company that even after a year continue to produce lint.Anyway, especially for the price, this is a surprisingly absorbent but fast-drying towel. Just be ready for the fish-net appearance. And the lint. However, you can't beat the speed to dry, the light weight, and the compactability of a 100% linen towel.

this towel is rough it will exfoilate ..im so suprised anyone would want a comfortable towel when you need to get clean and getting off dead skin cells is the way to go...i love love love how this towel smells so fricking natural i want that smell all over me and my home i want my entire home to smell like this natural fiber connects me to mother nature....thanku thank u thank u ...i love love love LOVE it so much id love to have many of them to give away i wish everyone could experince this and understand its not good for it to be soft ...rough linen needs to be that way to absorb the water and also release the moisture fast you can always cuddle up with a soft towel if u want after you get off the dead skin cells and im telling you this is the way to go this is the first towel i have found that meets my expectations as ive been told im never satisfied but let me tell u they are wrong i am SATISFIED so much i want to wear this material for all my clothing i love this feeling ugh ugh ugh how can i become wealthy just so i can make this dream a reality?

I’m with Roberta (May 2019 review): I LOVE these towels. (I must confess to being a linens, and linen, snob.)If you want a thick, fluffy terrycloth towel, this is not for you. If you DO want a lightweight, roughly-textured-yet-soft, super-absorbent, quick-drying, no-pesticides/dyes towel that never smells musty or mildewy with an understated, luxuriously organic quality, you won’t be disappointed.It is sheer, so keep that in mind for use in public. I did not have the problem with lint everywhere or in my hair (long and dark which would easily pick up and show lint). Love the hanging loop too! I’d love to have more of these, in a larger size as well. And if some dark greys and blues could be available without sacrificing any of its existing inherent qualities, I’d replace all my bathroom towels with these!

Absolutely my favorite towels EVER!! I feel exactly like I’ve been to the day spa every time I dry off with these. I hesitated due to price but after trying them out, they are very much well worth the investment. The ultimate luxury— exfoliating, soft, and comfortably invigorating—they feel wonderful and leave my skin very smooth and glowing, I feel fresh and completely clean and pure after using this vs. any other towel. I can’t overstate the huge difference these make in feeling fantastically renewed after bathing. Very pretty and neutral to blend effortlessly with any decor, they look beautiful in my bathroom. These are thin compared to a traditional towel but the weave texture gives it just enough thickness. Incredibly absorbent and lightweight. Will pack well for trips. I’ve washed them twice and had no lint coming off of them, very durable, good construction and I expect to last for many years. They dry in about half an hour so always feel clean rather than a terry cloth towel that stays wet for the whole day and needs to be washed after every use. I hope they come back available so I can buy more. Please make these in hand towels and wash cloths. I want to change all my towels to this fabric ASAP.

Towel is great for travel and camping! Dries in about a half hour or so and isn't bulky at all. It is a little rouher material than I was hoping for but still does its job.

Should have bought this years ago! Texture feels so good while drying. Drys you off in half the time of cotton towels. I will be buying more!!!!!

Using it as a bath towel. Feels wonderful on the skin.
