I was skeptical, now i'm convinced!
Decided to give this cooler a try, wasn't sure if it would stay cool enough in the Florida climate. Plugged it in the house for two hours to cool it down, filled it with drinks and food from the refrigerator. The instruction indicates that its better to keep things cool, not cool them down which make sense. Drove for two hours, everything stayed cool and plugged in in 110V in the club house for the day then to the hotel. From Saturday 5:00am to Sunday 5:00pm everything stayed very cool and no melted ice mess to deal with. The fact that it works with 12 V in the car and 110 elsewhere is a big plus. Glad I got this unit!

Convenient cooler.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. How good the mini cooler it is. Very good quality and perfectly put in my car. Very convenient to bring some drinks and keep the food fresh when my kids have the activity. Love this cooler. Thank you.

Hard working little fella
We bought this for a June road trip. Just got home after 25 days on the road covering 5,680 miles and this little guy was working the entire time. It ran quietly when we were driving and in our hotel rooms it sounded like a quiet fan. Kept our food plenty cold and even would cool food off that was warm when we put it in. It didn’t need any freezer packs or anything. I know there’s a few negative reviews on here but They must have gotten defective ones because this little guy ran like a champ. It even kept ice in my wife’s water bottle frozen.

Find a better alternative
This is NOT a refrigerator, and barely a cooler by most people's standards. I'll admit that i have not tried to use the heating function yet, but my intention was to simply use this for tailgating and for keeping my lunch cold in my office. At first, it would keep food cool for the few hours until lunch time, but after only a few weeks, it has become less and less effective. It also overheats if used for extended periods, and actually pumps warm air into the cooler compartment! For the $100 that i paid for this, i could have bought a mini fridge for my office, and a small cooler for tailgating, which i am sure would have worked much better. I do NOT recommend this.

Great buy!
Great little fridge for traveling & car camping. It’s quiet and keeps food & drinks cold, not just cool. What I do is turn it on in the house the night before heading out, put two ice packs at the bottom, then a buffer between the ice packs and food stuff, it lets the cold circulate and keeps food colder, which makes it possible to turn it off during the night when I car camp, and the food is still cold when I turn it back on in the morning. After 3 days of car camping my ice packs were 3/4 frozen when I got home. Going to buy a portable power station to run it during the nights during the hotter months. Great buy!

Road trip or workshop ready
Bought this for a month long road trip last summer (sorry for the delay in reviewing!) and LOVED IT! Lunches, drinks, snacks, keeping things cool overnight in the hotel room when plugged in...you name it. Fit perfectly behind the front console without taking up leg room for passengers in the back and stayed cold the entire time. You do want it cooled before loading so prep first but, after that, it's a hard working cooler that is super easy to carry in with your luggage to the hotel room or car. Best way I know of to keep water cold while traveling or enjoy cool apples, etc. Was a powerhouse from the South to the Northwest and back. 30 days on the road without a hitch. Definitely worth the purchase. Even if you aren't able to travel too far, it will keep your items cold for hours (think workshop, garage, or just a neighboring location). We didn't try the warming temp so can't comment there, but...this would work in my garage without having to continue to get ice to keep things cool. LOVE it!

Functional
I bought this originally to do a road trip through Yellowstone and other national parks. Using it beforehand, I realized that it works great while driving and plugged in, but if you can't keep it plugged into the car or electricity, it doesn't keep things cold long, and obviously, while tent camping, I wasn't going to have the electricity to keep it charged. I looked into the possibility of purchasing and running a solar charger, but between the cost of purchasing the the space that would also take up, that wasn't feasible, so I ended up using a conventional cooler with ice for that national parks trip. But it's still convenient for road trips that take you to a destination that you can then plug it into electricity.
