Use it with my 26 ft arial tower and canon g21. Remote works great, never had a problem, would highly recommend.

Great for camera LANC connections
We use the 25ft. cable with the 2.5mm jack and pin to control record start/stop and zoom on a LANC equipped camera for a football end zone camera system. We combined it with a fiber optic HDMI cable into a lite weight cable.

Not for all Sony cameras.
Doesn't work on some Sony cameras. On the older models it does great, but has issues with newer models that require a multi terminal adapter.
