Claire Burke Apple Jack and Peel Potpourri Bag, Decorative Fall Fragrance for Home, 64 oz

Applejack and Peel has always been my go-to potpourri, and I use it in an electric potpourri pot, not unlike a small crock pot (not the tiny ones). Fill the pot with water, add a a few Applejack and Peel tidbits; refresh it by adding a few more tidbits every few days, add water daily if needed. Completely clean the pot every week or so. Like perfume, I can't smell it after the initial warm-up, but company loves the whiff they get. After reading the negative reviews, I seriously don't think people understand the concept of using potpourri. It looks pretty dumped in a pretty bowl but the scent fades quickly. Or people are just expecting a heavy lingering odor, something like you get with a febreeze product or any of the other air fresheners. Applejack and Peel is a potpourri, is the best for a subtle and inviting atmosphere. It's not made to cover cat box odors, burnt popcorn or dirty laundry.

This has always been my favorite scent. I also purchase the oil and spray all of which causes the aroma to linger longer.

Love the fresh scent, year round, apple, orange peel. I separated the contents into two bowl to place different spots. Dont know how long it will last but I did buy the refill oil to add longer. Its nice to walk by and get the fresh scent.

What can I say? I love the smell! Brightens your mood etc. I hope they never quit making it!

I’ve loved this potpourri for years but this purchase did not have the same potency. Ok when I first opened the bag and set out in 3 bowls but a day or so later had no discernible scent. I think it was too few wood shavings and too many botanical decorations that don’t hold the scent.

Nice pieces, nice color, fragrance not too strong. It just arrived today. I can smell it in the room, it's not overpowering and so far my allergies are okay. If it's too strong I'll move it to the garage for a while. Contents of the bag is a little less than I'd expected. Only 1 apple slice in the entire bag. I would give it 5 stars if there were few more apple slices in it.

My husband had this old memory foam pillow. It needed to go but he would hold on to it and not want any replacements pillows I tried. I tried a few. He likes this one. He says it is cool and comfortable. By the way he uses s cpap machine as well.

Thanks to my 11 year old Yorkie, I was beginning to get a whiff of the dreaded doggy odor when I came through the door. I've tried several deodorizers, including sprays, plug-ins, and solid odor absorbers. Claire Burke Applejack & Peel has been the best so far. The large botanical pieces look pretty in a glass bowl in my living room and lend a spicy citrus scent to my entire living area. I'm not a fan of heavily scented, perfumed products and find this scent very pleasing and long lasting. It can be refreshed with a few drops of the Applejack & Peel oil that is sold separately.

Having purchased various Claire Burke items, I was disappointed with the overwhelming , overpowering scent of this potpourri. It is definitelytoo strong for ever a very large room. Do not recomment

very mild fragrance. woudn't buy again.
