I'll say the same thing another reviewer stated. I bought one of these a few years ago from same vendor and was very very pleased. The one I just received, summer of 2022, is not the same seal I got last time. This one is super thick and super stiff. It's working but the kreepy krauly is seriously creeping a long at a snails pace. Years ago I purchased another brand with same problem and reviewer suggested to sand it down and I did, that did work and with a power sander with fine paper it only took a few minutes....but I was really hoping to get the same pleat again. At the price, I'd still buy this one over the OEM.

works well.good package.purchesed same kind of pleated skirt for pool cleaner,item was folded ,could not get it to lay flat even heated it with torch, then trashed it.thank you for one that works.

Works well. It came folded so I put it in sun for 2 hours to let it relax and go flat. Next day I tried to install but could not stretch hole enough to install SO I PUT IT IN SUN again FOR 2 HOURS and then I was able to install. I am very happy with it. My flat pad kept getting stuck on light fixture and this pleated one does not get stuck.

Needed to replace the skirt on my Kreepy Krauler. This one was the right price, bought it. Ended up throwing it away and just buying another Kreepy Krauler, this was junk.

Update: Lowered the rating to a 3 based upon the stiff plastic used as opposed to the more flexible original part. Unless your pool is kept quite warm, this foot has difficulty flexing adequately enough to do a thorough job much beyond the first season. Wear, however, has been almost non existent, still looks new.The disc works as advertised for a fraction of the cost of the brand name! It was easy to install on my twenty year old Kreepy (the best cleaner on the market by the way), runs nonstop in my pool the entire season. Go for it, you won't be sorry.

At first this seal was a bit stiff and it didn't move around the pool at all, so I did two things. I put the new seal in the sun for a few hours to loosen it up which definitely helped and I also replaced our old pool hose with this one (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005SS9EB0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8) after I noticed we were getting a lot of air in the filtration system. With a new seal and a new hose our Kreepy is working just like it should. Considering the local pool supply companies wanted between $85 and $99 for the OEM version of this seal, I am thrilled that this item works so well for 1/4 of the OEM price.
