Works Great.
Was getting the P003A and sporadically the P2563 codes on my 2011 LML Duramax with 60,500 miles on the odometer. After a lot of research I was pretty confident codes were due to the vane position sensor but didn’t want to spend over $400 for the AC Delco factory replacement part. Decided to try this much cheaper replacement part. Part seemed to be well made and looked exactly like old factory part. Installed new part and have received no new codes after over 250 miles of driving. Can tell truck has more power at lower RPMs. A couple of things to note: 1) you will need a 1” sensor socket to remove/ replace the sensor., 2) remove both negative battery cables before replacing the sensor., 3) after replacing the sensor turn your ignition on until the CEL light goes out and then start the truck. Some say you will need to take the truck to the dealer to program the new sensor but I followed the above procedures and have had no issues. The ECM will actually relearn the new sensor as you drive the vehicle. Happy with this new sensor and also happy with the money I saved!

Fixed my issue
It did fix my idle issue but my turbo was going bad, so it worked for what it could

longevity the unanswered question
06 2500HD duramax LLY (vin 2), chipped . check engine light code P2563. via ODB meter, erased code (did that before 4X, code always returned), removed old sensor, installed new. started truck, no CEL, truck running well, haven't been able the sensor the sensor mad yet (CEL still off, and challenged the truck on the back roads. only question remaining is longevity. NEED the specialty socket. did not / haven't / no dealership intervention needed (bonus!).

Fixed my turbo vane position sensor issue.
I had p0046 and p2563 codes along with impressively sluggish acceleration and response. The EDGE CTS3 monitor displayed a relatively non-volatile vane position sensor, indicating to me that it is stuck and/or inoperable. Eventually the vane position just stopped at 0% and stayed there.Upon installation of the new VPS, all issues have been resolved and the truck has been restored to it's former glory. Once I replaced I cleared codes, cycled ignition a few times then let the truck idle for a couple minutes as it did self-calibration checks. For $40 I'm happy. We will see how long it lasts.

Failed after 150 miles
Sensor appeared to work great for first 150 miles, then completely failed.

It fixed my problem
I wanted to make sure it fixed my problem on my Duramax which was throwing a P003a code so I waited a couple months to write the review. Installed this a couple months ago and have not had any more codes. My truck had low miles and has not been worked hard so I was hoping it was an instrumentation issue. Taking the truck into the dealer would have cost hundreds just for diagnostics. So far the price I figured it was worth a shot. To be honest I did not think it would solve my problem but it did, could not be happier.

Fixed P003A
Worked perfectly to clear P003A on 2011 LML Duramax. No relearn required. Product appears well made. Zero complaints!

Works for a good price
Sensor was expensive from GM/Chev. Thought I'd try this part off Amazon for a fraction of the cost. It's held up fine now for the last 17-18 months since I ordered and installed it. Only thing I'd recommend is watch how you route it. Can get hot back there so maybe wrap in some loom or heat tape to be safe. I wasn't careful and the wire shielding melted a bit on mine. Didn't trip a code or cause issues, so wrapped it in heat tape myself. Only noticed it while doing some maintenance on the truck one day.

Works fine but did not fix the problem
I was hoping this would eliminate the turbo boost control position sensor code, but it wasn't the issue. It works fine and there was no noticeable difference in performance. Easy install and came with new heat shield and metal tire strap

Good for the price
Bought this as a cheaper alternative to chasing an issue I was having. Truck was throwing code P0046. Wasn’t sure if it was the vane sensor or actuator. Instead of buying the $400 dollar OEM sensor I got this and solved my issue. Now we will see how long it lasts. So far, I am happy with the product.

Didn’t work…
Took a shot. Didn’t want to spend $500 at GM.“The code came back the very next day”.
