Manfrotto272B Adjustable Background Holder Crossbar for 9-Feet Paper (Black)

This is an excellent crossbar. I do wish there was a way to keep the middle bar from rotating any direction, but not that big of a deal. It is high quality and I love it. I'm using it to hold various items (lights etc.) to make videos. Manfrotto just makes super high quality products.

I needed a solid DSLR mount for overhead shooting. I determined a single rod on a tripod was a pita. This rod is used with two tripods. The rod ends tighten to the tripods. The rig is very steady and strong. I use a Manfroto clamp on the rod and attach the DSLR to the clamp. Solid, steady, stable. Great so far for mounting my MKIV overhead.

I had been search for a cross bar for a while. Never really like the three piece bars, so I decided to go with the Manfrotto. It cost a little more, but after receiving it and seeing the quality and build, I'm glad I spent the extra bucks. I only used it for the 53 x 36 Savage seamless and had no issues. I can't speak on longer papers, but based on the quality I don't see where they would be a problem.

Works great with amazon light stands. make sure to twist it tight but otherwise I bought a bunch for the studio

This three section telescoping crossbar works well for holding seamless paper and for lightweight cloth backgrounds. The sections twist to lock and it collapses to make it easier to pack for use on location. It clamps securely to standard light stands.I've just had it a few days, so I can't say how durable it is yet. I tried it with a heavy cotton background (just to see) and it sags noticeably, so for that you might want a heavy duty crossbar set.

I bought this pole to use for backdrops at schools and for weddings on the weekend. I use two impact light stands as the base and this pole completes the system. I buy the 50' rolls for travel and have the 140' rolls for my studio so I have only tested the 50' rolls. On an side note, the IMPACT HEAVY DUTY LIGHTSTANDS on B&H are $36 and are the best quality I have found and pair perfectly with this roll support. Truly amazing for the price.

Excellent! Very durable and easy to use. I bought this backdrop crossbar from Amazon because I didn't find it on Manfrotto official website. Even though I did not get any discount from here, but the quality is absolutely deserve 5 stars.

Perfect addition to the Manfrotto Autopoles and super clamps. I bought a whole set a la carte on amazon and I am super happy I did! Love the quality.
