3D volume & thickening shampoo | amika

Smells great. This is my "traveling" shampoo/conditioner combo.

Cleans well, amazing scent and adds body.

My hair is naturally thin and a dime size amount of this shampoo seems to double its thickness after just one washing. It’s left luxurious and shiny while smelling great for days.

Unfortunately this shampoo has a strong smell of perfume.

I was told about Amika through my stylist & decided to give it a chance seeing as I was in desperate need of a new shampoo that would work with my fine, oily hair. After using it for a little over a week, I gotta say it definitely does it’s job on making the hair thicker which was one of my main goals when buying this product. It smells HEAVENLY & lathers really nicely when in the shower which I haven’t had the luxury of with shampoos in the past. It seemed with past shampoos I’d have to use a lot of product just to work every crevasse & I was going through bottles way too fast. Not the case with this though. I will say however, if you've got an oily scalp it doesn’t really help longevity wise with reducing the sebum. I wasn’t sure upon buying this if it was directed more so for oilier scalps but decided it being labeled “3D volume” I would definitely give it a shot. Unfortunately my hair can only go two days max without being washed, but I think that’s just going to be the case with any shampoo I find. If you’re on the more normal-oily scalp range id say give it a shot. If you’re very oily scalped I’d recommend skipping on it.

I've used Amika products in the past and have always loved them. I was a little skeptical at first with this shampoo because it was so thin but it lathers great and after using it for a few days I can already tell the difference in my hairs texture. As an added bonus it smells amazing. It is a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
