Great product
Very good product to keep and maintain the barrel in top performance. Just follow the instructions and the product will do its job. Don’t let copper build up ruin the accuracy of the barrel.

MUST OWN!!!!!!
This stuff is a rock star. Haven't used it on my guns yet but this last weekend I went shooting with my friend. I shot just as a little warm up on my carry pistol so didn't do enough rounds to use this. But he was sighting in a .22 rifle whose rounds were pure lead with no jacketing. He only put 300 rounds thru it total or so but I want to try this and figured this is the perfect chance as that barrel has to be just full of lead. We did all the right prep and I set up a timer so we let it sit for 10:00 mins before we started cleaning it. About the first five or six patches were grayish/black. Then can out clean as hell. Then cleaned this off with normal barrel cleaner and brushes. Worked like a rockstar though. Cleans the lead out like you wouldn't believe. If you don't have this in your clean up kit already get it. Jacketed rounds still leave lead residue and lead dust behind. Don't have to use it everytime but it helps with longevity of the barrel, and accuracy.

Bore Cleaner
Best bore cleaner to use for heavy copper fouling.

Fastest copper cleaner out there, but should be used with care.
Warning: CR-10 has a high ammonia content. It lets off some very strong fumes. Ventilate appropriately.CR-10 as a copper cleaner is one of the most aggressive copper cleaners I've ever used. As such you need to understand when and how to use it. This is not a cleaner you use after every range session. It should typically be used every 500-1000 rounds depending on the caliber and bullets used. Most people clean their rifle all too often and lose consistency from having to refoul the bore and wear down their bores too soon. That being said, it is the best out there. 2 wet patches and a 10 minute soak will have them coming out a deep blue, reacting very well with the copper fouling. It's important to not leave this sitting in your bore for over the 10-15 minutes specified. Ammonia left overnight or for long periods of time will etch your bore. It's simply wiping with dry patches afterwards and using a proper protectant to displace the rest of anything you may have missed.

Cap broken and taped
I received my order today. The cap was broken and package tape wrapped over bottle held it on. It looked to me like this was a return before I got it because the instructions were removed by the first tape. Fortunately the bottle was sealed so it didn't leak out. Ill keep this order and locate a new cap.

bore copper cleaners
as a retired gunsmith i always dreaded getting a rifle that was severely copper fouled.(weatherby magnums)come to mind. it meant hours of scrubbing or the tedious electronic removal. i then found sweets copper remover and the job got much easier. you need to be careful not to leave the stuff in too long as it will etch the bore. i recently was in the market for a new bottle of sweets as my icon rifle in 243 loads up copper quickly and you can really tell as the target groups grow in size. i happened to read a review on copper removal and this barnes cleaner was rated #1 just ahead of the sweets i always used. i decided to give it a try and i must tell you i am impressed how well it works. just follow the instructions on the bottle and you will be surprised.it is as good as the sweets if not better. you couldnt go wrong with either product. i must warn you though, you must be careful to not leave this in the bbl too long,15 minutes per instructions , i let it sit 10 minutes just to be on the safe side as a new user. this copper solvent like the sweets contains ammonia, and this is what gets the copper out as well as the potential harm to the bbl.just make sure you clean the bore with hoppes #9 or like product after stripping the copper very thoroughly and then run a patch with a good gun oil/rust preventor before storing and be sure to remove oil before shooting the gun again.this is not an every time you shoot cleaner, dont be misled! make sure you dont get this on the stock and keep it off the blued and nickle surfaces as it can damage the finish of both. the other brands of copper cleaner that do not contain the ammonia do not work nearly as fast or as well.just pay attention to what you are doing and follow the instructions and you will be pleased with the barnes copper solvent.like all barnes products, i am again impressed.

Great Product! Works even better than Sweets 7.62
I used this a very long time ago but I was not able to find it anywhere. It is easier to use, soaks into the patches must faster and more completely.Took a lot less time to clean my AR15 after putting 500+ rounds through it!Only took a few patches, where Sweets took twice or three times as many patches to get all the copper jackets out of the barrel. The amonia smell is not as strong as Sweets and it cleans better and quicker!
