After just a few weeks, already it is weakening.
I have been using this for a few weeks now and already it is weakening, It looks sturdy enough but it will not hold a heavy mic, such as the Rode NT1A which is what I am using. The mic just weighs the arm down and it continues to slip during recording. Where the arm slots into the clamp are very weak and it does not stay upright. I will need to purchase a replacement mic stand soon as this can`t last much longer. I would suggest only use it for lighter mics. Meanwhile, if anyone can recommend a sturdy tabletop mic stand that would hold a heavy mic like the Rode NT1A with Shock Mount and pop filter, I would love to hear from you.

Useful desktop mic stand
I had just bought my daighter a USB mic so she could to do ad hoc vocal recordings for college etc. and I was most impressed so considered one myself before realising that I have a number of decent vocal mics I could use anyway. All I was missing was a neat cradle or desktop stand that I could 'put away' easily. Came across this...It's not really quite big enough for my setup as I have quite a deep desktop. Ideally it would clamp to the back edge, so I could pull it forward and push it right back out of the way when not in use. As it is, I have this one sat on the front corner but it's still quite workable. It means I can now indugle in recording voice overs or vocals without having to setup a mic in the live room, with all the toing and froing that entails. It will definitely make me want to record more which was the main reason for buying. Each arm is only about 35cm but allows you to stand if it is mounted on the edge of a desk right infront of you. I am using it with an Audio Technica AT4033 which it holds well enough but may be on the edge of the weight tolerance. After a time it begins to sag but I am being careful with how much I tighten the thumb screws etc. as I don't know how long they will last. It's ok but feels just a little fragile and I don't want to push my luck. For the money it is definitely worth a punt and so far has solved my problem without spending a ridiculous amount on a proper broadcast studio setup.

Ideal for home office
The Earamble Adjustable Microphone Suspension Boom will be ideal if using at home as a startup product. It is by no means the high end devices you expect in the music of broadcast industry, nor is it meant to be.The clamp fits onto the desk with ease and will account for quite a thick surface. The plastic collar does that holds the boom arm at the base moves around a bit (flexible in within the metal fitting) so be sure to swing the mic with care. The spring arm is strong and will stay in the position you leave it, so no drooping when on a call! I have no noticeable squeaks when moving the arm other than the slight 'pwang' in the spring when adjusting height. The mic holds itself in position ok, I am using the attachment that came with my mic so can't comment on the one that comes with it.All in all, a solid purchase and ideal to get you started in your home office or youtube video ventures!

You get what you pay for
They are cheap and cheerful.Bought 2 for dual mics (rode NT1A) would NOT recommend - the mics are way too heavy for these stands and I guarantee I'll be buying better quality stands within a few weeks or even days. The metal is very light and feels like it's going to snap, the screws to tighten the joints don't seem to tighten no matter how much you turn them. You are also very limited when it comes to direction, I've noticed when I turn the mic to the side, rather than turning, it tilts over as well, so needs to be kept at the same angle as the clamp to prevent this. It'll probably be better for smaller mics that don't need to be stretched across a table/desk too far. It's cheap and I've learnt my lesson. They will do for now.

Perfect! No issues since purchase months and months ago
I was nervous buying this because I didn't think it would hold up my mic but it's brilliant!!!!I use a Blue Yeti microphone for online gaming and streaming but couldn't put up with the basic stand that comes with it, so I went for this and I've honestly had 0 issues since purchase! Every now and again the joints need retightening but honestly.. that's once a month or less, I'm just nervous and like to test them every time anyway! My only issue is related to my actual desk and setup, no complaints about this at all!I will add that I have my mic sitting on the official shock mount for the blue yeti so there's less vibration and noise from the arm through the mic!

Creates a nice solid stand.
I bought this for a friend that plays the guitar & sings. Picked this one for the amount of variety in the types of microphones that it holds. Tried it clamped to my desk & it fits firmly & all screws into place to create a solid mount for even heavier mikes. Good arm & very well adjustable 🙂

Cheap but effective!
I have a very crowded studio space, and was always having to shift things around when I wanted to do vocals... So decided to pick up this adjustable stand to keep things quickly accessible but also so I could move it out the way when needed. This stand is cheap, but does a great job of supporting my condenser and a pop shield. It has a good range of motion. For the money, you'll struggle to find anything as good. Five stars for that reason.

Not brilliant
The couldn't fit my desk the, i had to adapt it to sit where i needed it, it wasn't strong enough to hold my microphone (regular size) and its not very flexible so it feel like my mic is fixed in too optical spot, closed when im not useing it and stretch when useing it, the make it feel like its in the way all the time,Doses the job ok after and i did some DIY on it to fit my set up,Wouldn't by again. But not bad for a starter setup,
