Royal Velvet Plum, Fabric by the Yard

Back in Nov 2021, I ordered "Royal Velvet Plum, Fabric by the Yard" and I was very satisified with the quality received. However, I needed more material, so I used the "Buy it again" button in Feb 2022 thinking I would receive the very same material and quality (There was no notification from Amazon at any point when I used the "Buy it again" feature that there was quality/material change). When I received it, I had to delay the use- so I did not open the package for a while. And when the time came to work on the material, I needed more material, so I used the "Buy it again" button in April 2022 (again, thinking I would get the same high quality material I had received in the first order). Well, when I received the material, I was very disappointed - the quality was completely opposite of my original order, and even the color was different too. And, I found out when I was doing the return/replacement that, while Amazon has a return policy, the company that sent the material has a completely different return/replacement policy that is only valid for 7 days or else they will not accept the return.I have attached photos of the material: the one with the orange sticker is the original material. The picture with the white sticker, is the material purchased in Feb 2022, and the picture with the large, lighter color material with the lines is the replacement material (it was not even in a plastic bag as the previous orders) received in April 2022.There is a picture showing the color difference - the first order is the circle piece; the Feb order material is the other small piece; the large piece of material is the replacement material received April 2022.I even held the materials up to a lamp to show the difference is quality. The cirlce piece is the original order(note that it has a thicker weave than the other materials received).I have also included a picture of the return/replacement policy that this company has to show how their policy is different from Amazon.Bottom line: do NOT use the "Buy it again" button for this item because the quality will be considerably less than the original order.

This was a great buy! The fabric was great quality and the color is very rich and beautiful! I would purchase this again if needed in the future.

The velvet is low pile and thinner than I expected, but beautifully strong and lustrous. It will be perfect for reupholstering my sofa,, and I love it.

Ok let me tell you how hard it was to find similar fabric for repairing these types of shows. But I can say it worked out perfectly. My friend got this shows a long time ago but they were ripping and so I ordered this fabric and I gotta say I’m so impressed

This velvet was perfect for a small child's coat, just what I needed.

Soft, quality velvet used for recovering a rocking chair. Nice weight. Beautiful color.
