Average build quality but delivers way better performance than it looks
Bought the Sumo 45xl cooler that arrived today afternoon, so this is more of a quick review. The build quality looks average and when you see inside, you can see that the aspen pads are not evenly filled. But let me tell you, it provides way better cooling that you will expect from first look. Also there is almost no noise when compared to other coolers that I have used before which includes symphony touch and also a famous local brand from Nagpur. Any one living in Nagpur will know which brand I am talking about ;)The cooler is a water hog though. Weather as shown on google is 45 degrees with real feel of 50 degrees. Even though there is no spillage of water from sides, it consumed 25 litres of water every 3 hours. How do I know? I used 5 litre bottle that I had lying around to fill it. This cooler really could have used an auto cut off system for water pump to protect the same. Given that such a circuit could easily be mass produced for under 100 Rs, its a shame its not included in the cooler. I have solved this issue, for more details read till the end.One small issue that I faced is that by night the cooler developed a stream of droplets that started falling from top left side inside the cooler aiming straight on the spinning fan. As the drops were falling on the spinning fan blade, they were getting thrown off all across the room. It was nothing major as we were able to gently poke the source with a stick which tucked the loose aspen fiber back into the crevice and hence the issue got resolved. The water consumption also seemed to have decreased a bit because of the lower night temperature. Also I have changed the fan to run on lower speed which should also further reduce the water consumption.10-12 days later: I had my cooler mounted on a window. Decided to get it cleaned once. Mounting was easy as it was empty. But as it had about 10 litres of water left out, thats after pump stops pulling water as water is lower than the level where pump can access it, getting it down is not easy. The body feels extremely flimsy and you have to be extra cautious to get it down. Not just so that you won't brake it, but because the plastic design lines on the sides are very sharp and can cut through the skin. Trust me, I learned it the hard way. I didn't pull the drain plug at the bottom as I have experienced water leakage in my old symphony cooler after doing it, so decided to take of side panel. Word of advice, never open the side panel first. If you only remove the side panel, installing it will be a pain in the behind. Watch this you tube video instead - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFBPvIwGPb8. Not my video and the cooler in the video is slightly different as it do not have screws in the side panels, but I think this will still be helpful.5 more days later: The cooler developed another stream this time dripping from the water distribution tray straight on the fans. So I had to open it again. I found that the small box on top of water distribution tray was completely blocked with aspen and gunk. Cleaning that up solved the issue. Also after cleaning, cooler is now taking 12 hours to consume same amount of water it was consuming in 3 hours before. So now I feel its completely usable. Why a new cooler came with clogged box, I don't know, but its working way better now.A lot of screws are now loose as they were fitted directly in soft plastic. So when you open it, that soft plastic around the screw also comes out making it unable to hold the screw properly afterwards. Another downside of cheap design. So my final verdict is the cooler is ok if you are open for bit of modding and tinkering yourself. There are quality issues, but given that most coolers are now placed at above 10000 Rs mark, I would say for its price its kind of expected.

Product quality and efficiency
It worked well for four days only. 12th delivery, 15th midnight cooling function stopped completely and started giving unbearable foul smell .16th , 19th and 22nd April mcomplaints are made with Amazon, three times but upto date absolutely no action taken. While talking online, each time two days they ask to reach a solution, but nothing done. No remote, manual and warranty card. Simply shown as operation mode, Remote in the specifications. Finally, I feel cheated by the company.

Choice for Larger Spaces
This cooler offers great value for spacious rooms due to its large size, but may not be ideal for smaller spaces. Additionally, it lacks a remote control feature.
