Meat Mallet

We eat a lot of meat in our family, and I know the benefits of pounding meat like chicken to get it to cook evenly and faster plus the textured side really helps with marinading and seasoning. I’m grateful to finally find one that is dishwasher safe. I saw this one from Mountain Grillers, made from stainless steel, and thought I’d give it a try. Well I can report that I washed it in the dishwasher last night after dinner and it came out sparkly clean. It’s sturdy, perfectly weighted and I’m really happy with it!

Great item! I make fried pork tenderloin that is pounded out and breaded and I make schnitzel alot. Makes short work of flattening meat, super easy to clean and perfect size. Its smaller than I expected but it works like a dream and being slightly smaller makes it convenient to store. Totally recommend this hamner.

My family loves our steak, chicken and even schnitzels, (if there’s a cold beer to go with it.) So I’ve had the chance to wear out a lot of Meat Mallets. Well after using this meat tenderizer tool for a big family BBQ this past weekend, I can say that we’ve found the best tool for the job! This tenderizer from Mountain Grillers is a meat lover’s dream mallet. First of all it’s beautifully designed, with a polished finish, that’s dishwasher safe, - which is a definite plus. The mallet fits comfortably in my hand and the head is perfectly weighted and balanced for pounding and tenderizing. Other mallets I’ve tried the head would come off mid pounding, because they were too heavy for the tool. This tenderizer tool doesn’t slip in my hand, and is very effective for both flattening my cuts of meat in seconds, as well as using the textured side for seasoning, so my Grandma’s famous Texas seasoning recipe gets into every bite - mmmm...delish! And, they included a handy hook on the end, so I can hang it up, instead of cramming it into my kitchen drawer - I’m a very happy customer and I’ll be ordering from Mountain Grillers again.

It worked really well. Right weight and no-slipper handle. However, it came with the handle scratched badly. Several large, ugly scratches that are all deep! I didn't return it because it's a good meat tenderizer at a reasonable price. If you expect a nice looking, high-quality product, this is not for you. Otherwise, it's good for everyday use.

I am delighted with this Meat Mallet Tool. The size and proportion are prefect for ease of use - great for beef, chicken and pork. This is a highly recommended kitchen implement built in great quality materials and finishes.

Product is nice and heavy, great for pounding chicken. Seems to be well made have had for over one month and it gets used at least twice a week with no issues like I saw on other compared meat malet

Purchased this as a replacement for a tenderizer withteeth. This has bumps and works great. Withthis tool we can put cuts of meat inside a freezer bag to tenderize to keep the area clean. Works well and great value for the price!

It's stainless steel, dishwasher safe, well balanced, good head weight and small enough to easily handle.
