The Amazon packaging was fine but the actual cardboard box that contained the item was pushed/crushed in one corner. On opening the box the damage had extended to the item itself and rendered it unable to function. It was returned.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. If they make a bigger one i will buy that too . no need for electric this is so easy to chop up vegetables. Pull the chord more for finer and finer slices.
