Johnsons25570 Calendula Sunset Buff Seeds

Seeds germinated ok from Spring sowings, but after being hardened off & planted outside they took ages to come into flower. I think the problem may have been the unusually strong winds and number of overcast days I had in my locality over the Summer. These were definitely not the most resilient variety I’ve ever grown. They need plenty of sunlight, warmth & shelter to do well.

I put the seed in the wadding in 3/4 days I planted them in the ground, and now they are growing well, they resist the cold well.the bag contains many seeds, do not plant them directly in the ground

Good germination rate. Seeds funny lucking but just lay on watered compost and sprinkle lightly with soil.
