SALOMONMen's Speedcross Trail Running Shoes

I recently picked up a pair of the Salomon Men's Speedcross Trail Running Shoes and I have to say they’ve really impressed me. I’ve used them on some pretty rugged terrain and they’ve held up beautifully. The grip on these shoes is fantastic. Whether I'm navigating muddy trails or slippery rocks, I feel secure with each step. The outsole does an amazing job at keeping me stable when the ground is uneven.What stood out to me right away was how cushioned these shoes feel. They offer that perfect blend of support without being too stiff. I took them on a couple of longer runs, around 5 to 8 miles, and didn’t have any discomfort. They’re lightweight but robust, which is something I really appreciate when I’m out on the trails for hours.The fit is snug but not constricting. I usually wear a size 10 and went with the same size in these. They hug my foot just right, which is important for avoiding blisters during a long run. The breathable mesh keeps my feet cool, even in warmer weather, which is a huge plus for me.One thing to note if you’re considering these is that they do run a bit narrow. For anyone who has wider feet, it might be worth trying them on first or considering a half-size up. But if you’re looking for a solid trail runner that can handle tough conditions while keeping you comfortable, these shoes are a really solid choice. The price point feels fair for the quality and performance you’re getting. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and look forward to many more miles in these shoes.

I first ordered a size 10. With a pair of waterproof socks I found these shoes to be an extremely tight fit around the toe box. Even without socks they were still tight. I immediately returned them for an exchange to size 11. The second pair arrived the following day. Fit is still snug with waterproof socks on, but they are comfortable. I am currently wearing them in around the house. If I encounter any problems I'll update the review. On a second point when I ordered the exchange pair of shoes they were priced at 50% more than the size 10. Knowing that I needed something like these shoes for a planned long distance hike in late September I went ahead and ordered them. Amazon then came back in a message and said they would honour the original price. This with the extremely quick delivery and no hassle process indicates to me that when Amazon works well it is second to non for online shopping. 5 * + for me.I completed a 192 mile hike across Northern England in these shoes. No problems at all. Waterproof socks kept my feet dry. They are great on wet grass and mud. Felt a little slippy on wet rock.

I have been purchasing these trainers since speedcross 3 came out and they don't dissapoint. The fit as recommended and very comfortable. Good for all round use and good for off road/Cross running. The only slight down side to these is the grip on wet rocks, it's not the best however the grip is really good on grass, soil and gritty pathways. I will continue to keep purchasing these whilst they make them. Would definitely recommend

The fit was sound and today my first 4 mile light jog. Quality good, afforded protection to ankle and toes. Grip excellent. Ideal for gravel, tarmac and rough ground

Fantastic trail running shoe, can run straight out of the box. Managed to get at a fantastic price, very happy.

Comfy and look great!

Purchased primarily for cross country dog walks. Have used in dry and wet conditions and have not had any issues with grip. Very comfortable straight out of the box.

Bought them for an obstacle course race. Didn’t have a chance to break them in. Put them on at the venue & they were immediately comfortable. They held up great & kept my feed warm & relatively dry throughout. Grip worked well because of the “spikes” belowNice looking shoe as well. I bought my regular sneaker size & they fit great.

A totally different running shoe than any I had before. Excellent experience: Snug, perfect grip, ultra light. Shoes are obviously very personal, but for me these are incomparably superior to my top of the line Asics running I had over the last years.

Tread life doesn’t last long

Hab die Schuhe zum gelegentlichen Wandern auf rutschigem Grund gekauft und dafür sind sie super.Passform ist bei mir toll, der Grip mit den Stollen super (natürlich nur im Gelände, auf Straße eher ungünstig).Selbst Fußball kann man hilfsweise mit den Schuhe spielen.Rundum ein guter Schuh, der beim Auspacken auch nicht übermäßig nach Chemie gerochen hat.
