I knew this would be a great book, a keeper!
I have quite a number of books on Carrol Shelby, Cobras, Daytona Cobras, and their racing history. I think this book is the best of the bunch; large format, beautiful book, great photos, etc. It wasn't cheap but it is worth every penny to any fan of Shelby's Cobras and the iconic Daytona Cobra. A MUST HAVE!

Another excellent book in this series.
I found this book absolutely fascinating. Being familiar with the books on the Lightweight E-type, 250GTO Ferrari, GT40 Ford, 917 Porsche, this book filled in a whole lot more information about that 1960's era of racing. To be honest i hadn't realised qute how successful the Daytona coupes were in their heyday. Amazing to think that by putting a new more aerodynamic body on the Cobra chassis (ex AC Ace) they were right up with the GTOs etc. This book is very well researched, liberally illustrated with excellent period photos of the car(s) in period competition, plus chapters of information on the important races. A great addition to my library.

GREAT book!
Outstanding book in every way - well written, quality materials, outstanding photos. This book had information I have not seen before in any Daytona book including the one by Peter Brock, which he (Peter) states on page 6.Highly recommended for any Cobra fan!

Fabulous history of iconic car
Excellent new book by Rinsey Mills. Some new photos and great layout are a real treat. Text is very informativeand presents new information on the racing seasons they participated in. I have over 15 books on Shelby Americanhistory and this one is in the top 3. Here's to the old addage " You must have this one in your collection!"

Quality book very well produced.
Fantastic book very well illustrated with informative text. Quality production with nice paper and thick hard bound cover.I'm a modelmaker so great reference source.

Great book, sketchy quality
Very good production quality (paper / photos / layout / writing) but iffy binding quality, like the similar Bugatti Type 50 volume. An $85 book shouldn't have the cloth endpieces detach, nor should the page sections appear to start to separate. The Bug book ($35) had similar issues but not as bad as this Daytona tome. Shame the manufacture couldn't be better. Also the picture of the yellow cobra on trailer with truck, has the brilliant canary yellow washed out. The same picture in one of Dave Friedman's books, is vastly more vibrant.Five star book, minus one for binding quality.
