Great for shipping labels
Rather than using sticky shipping labels, I print on paper and covered with 2" box tape. This is one and done rather than several passes with 2" tape. Simply lay downward facing label on upward facing sticky side 6" tape, press to stick, pull, and cut. Too easy. Only issues are that it MUST be mounted. 6" tape offers significant resistance. Makes a lot of "tape" noise when pulling. But overall a time and cost saver for regular shipping requiring printed labels.

Nice gadget
This is very handy. However, I wish it was wider.

Works fine
This dispenser is a little cheaply built and not meant to be anything other than mounted/screwed down somewhere, but it gets the job done. We were looking for the 6 inch wide cutter for the specially-sized tape rolls used for covering shipping labels because we have had reports of some of our package labels getting damaged in transit just from handling/other boxes sliding around on top/etc. Don't want that happening. This holds those 6" wide label protective rolls well. I had to flip the roll around after first use because I loaded it sticky side down like a normal tape dispenser, but you want to load this thing with sticky side up. It's set up this way and also with the extended flat surface to be able to place the label facing down on the tape before pulling out and cutting the tape. But we don't use it that way, we just pull the tape out and stick in on the label which is already stuck on the box. It works fine this using this way though.

Cuts tape, but expect to anchor it down
The description suggests that the dispenser is designed to work with the weight of the tape. It does not. Not even close, no way, no how, nope. The rubber feet don't even touch the surface the dispenser is on, so there nothing to keep it from slipping around. A typical tape roll requires more than enough force to pull the dispenser off the table since the plastic construction offers no resisting weight. It only worked when we clamped it down. There are no instructions, so we had to figure out the the spring arm has anchor holes.Unless you're mounting it permanently, or clamping it to a table, or adding lots of weight, you should probably look elsewhere.

Don’t waste your money
This item is flimsy, especially the holder that should keep the tape in place. I’m not a fan of this product at all
