The purple looks like a bright magenta color online. It's actually a dark burgundy color. They're soft enough but nothing special.

I got these for under 10$ as a spare set and am glad there are only spares. They should be described as seconds. The "deep" pockets barely fit and the pillowcases were left unsewn on the hems as was a small portion of the top sheet.. Not so bad if you have a sewing machine - which I do not. The thickness and quality is what you would expect for cheaper sheets. the only really positive thing that I can say is the top sheet was decently long so you won't "short sheet" yourself while sleeping. If paying over 10$ I do not recommend.

It is true, these sheets are very nice. They're very pretty. I got the purple (plum) ones. They're soft and stay snug on my thick mattress. I recommend them highly... I am very picky.
