Flexible and Well Engineered
This is a great hardware kit for building a gazebo. This same kit can be used to build a gazebo that ranges from a 10'x10' up to a 10'x20'. I decided on a 10'x12' with a couple of modifications from the plans included. First I wanted to use 4"x6" uprights and top beams (the plans call for 4x4 uprights and double 2x6's for top beams). I had to cut two of the unused bracket/straps in half to accommodate the 4x6 uprights.Second, the plans are designed for standard plywood and shingle roofing - whereas I wanted to use metal roofing - so I had to add a lot of cross members to support the metal roofing.All in all I'm so impressed with this kit that I will be ordering another to build a 10'x18' carport.

The bracket made it easy to build the Gazebo. It only took me and my dad 3 days to complete the project

Gazebo build
I built a Gazebo, The only thing was I thought that the directions could have been a little more detailed. Other than that I thought it was very helpful in construction, as I’m not a carpenter.

12 x12 gazebo
I used this to make a 12 x12 ..I had to modify the center bracket so it is a good idea to stay with the 10x dimensions.. the bracket kit worked really well I had brackets left over

I like this kit. I build a 16 x 16 and would liked to have had 4 additional brackets because of the extra width. A few screws twisted off. Maybe a little better metal would have prevented that. I found it easy to work with. I had left over plates since my post were set in the ground.

Makes a hip roof easy!
This was my first roof to build, and this kit helped a ton! I ended up being able to get it to fit a 12x18' pad. The brackets are well made and strong, but they are meant for 4x4s. I used 6x6s so I was unable to use the post brackets. My only complain is the screws are crappy and many of them snapped off at the head.The one here is the same one Home Depot sells, but it's way cheaper here. It also gets to you faster. Buy the one here if you decide to buy the kit.

Pyrex fittings made job easier
These worked great. Our canopy is rectangular and so the angles weren’t 100% but were able to be bent to fit. The roof went on relatively easily, but it was a big project for two seniors.

Well worth the money.
My husband really liked these. He isn’t a carpenter but he found these brackets very easy to work with and get the job done. Well worth the money.👍

Bends easy, cheap material and instructions are minimal
The brackets bend way to easy, there is little to no support in the middle. Would not recommend over $200 with tax and I still had to spend another 150 to get proper support.
