Perfect fit.
Bought this thermostat to go with the electric water pump that I bought. It is a perfect fit, and the price is about half the price from the BMW dealer, and the brand name is about the same. Works fine since I install it on my BMW X3. Will highly recommend to a friend.

Quality replacement
Not OEM, but doesn't get much better than beck arnley, never been disappointed with any of their products including this thermostat for my n54.

Good Product
This product worked just fine. Installed and solved the problem of the engine light (thermostat). Easy to install, drop the bottom engine cover and access from underneath the car. Came with new sensor installed. Now we see how long it lasts...

Exact replacement for 328XI (2007 E91)
Exact replacement for (E91) 2007 BMW 328XI. Worked properly and appears to be doing its job, nearly 5000 miles post install. Of note, the OEM version is a (cast aluminium? zinc?) metal unit, this is all plastic. It appears to be some kind of BMC/thermoset material, which is pretty standard these days.I wouldn't be put off by the fact that it looks like a cost-reduced version of the original, apparently even if you order from BMW, you'll get a plastic version.

Leaking after exactly one year
Bought this product for my 2007 BMW 328 in Dec 24, 2012. Almost exactly one year later (today is Dec 19, 2013) the thermostat is leaking from the electric plug region, bad enough that I have to put a piece of cardboard underneath the car while its parked so that it doesn't leave a mark on the concrete floor. I need to find a new replacement very soon. I would not recommend this product to other buyers.

Last minute seller.
If you need a thermostat for your car, right this minute. Dont bother with this seller. I ordered my thermostat and radiator fluid the same day. The thermostat was ordered around noon on sunday with 2-3 day shipping... the fluid was ordered later that night with 3-5 day shipping. By wednesday i already had the radiator fluid and this seller had just put my thermostat in the mail. So now its saturday and ive been without a car for a solid week now and still have 3 days to wait. If you're not worried about when you'll get the part, or dont mind a seller who takes to the very last minute... then look no farther! Otherwise, spend the extra couple dollars on a seller who may be able to get your parts to you within a week... Cause obviously paying for faster shipment doesn't help.
