I use this for my home theater system it works great. What I find inconvenient is it is made of hard plastic and is not to flexible.

A great little cable at low cost.

I connect everything to my TV, then run audio from the TV to my receiver. It was simple to connect, but I found I had an annoying low hum that was present all the time. I tried adjusting the volume on every device, to find a combination that minimized the hum, and while it was reduced, it was still noticeable.Replacing the copper cable with an optical cable completely removed the hum. Problem solved!

It's an optical cable, it either works or it doesn't. The size of the cable or wrapping is irrelevant. I needed a thin cable to hide down the back of the TV's legs, and this worked perfectly.I've read some reviews talking about how this cable is too thin and has "bad shielding"... They have no idea how this technology works apparently. It is a plastic tube which light flashes through. There is no possible way of getting interference unless you cut or kink the cable which would prevent the light from passing through.

Felt flimsy to the touch. Broke one input side on hookup..

A bit flimsy, but great for the price! Definitely not rugged enough for travel, but good for permanent installation.

As fiber optic cables go, the length is fine and it works well. Flexible and long enough to reach the receiver within the cabinet. Black color blends in easily. Audio quality through tested devices is excellent. Thanks!

I was in the market for some cheap optical cables, and stumbled upon these. These are not the highest quality cables appearance wise, as they feel like hard plastic, and not smooth/ soft like more premium cables, but you know what? Who cares, as these cables work as advertised, and I do not regret my purchase. I would buy these again, as it makes no since to buy more expensive cables that serve the same purpose.
