I don't leave many negative reviews, but be prepared to spend time modifying this kit to work. It's a nice kit, but parts really don't fit together very well. For the price, I think it should be higher quality. But it is for an older bike, so what can you do. I am a small engine mechanic of 7 years, I do know how to put together a recoil starter assembly.

It's the only rebuild kit that I know of. Comes with pretty much everything you need. Just wish the overall quality was to OEM standards. I had an issue where the dogs wouldn't engage when I pulled the rope. I just had to play with it to get it to work properly.

Very nice pull starter rebuild kit. Most complete kit that I have found. The rope is better than what I got at the Honda shop. Thanks for the quality parts to keep my old 200 ready to start.

The only reason I rated this so low is the fact that it dident specifie that you needed the pull start cover. Now most of you would say we'll of course you need that part what are you stupid? Well my answer to this is that I was rebuildING my honda 200atc from what was just a piece of crap missing half it's parts so I didn't know which ones I needed till after I ordered this last one. Rewiew update : so I finally found the time to put it together and let me tell you it doesn't fit. It also looks nothing like the pull start that was in it, if anybody has any advice please post it here in the Rewiew thank you
