Very stylish, SHARP knives.
I love this brand of knives! I have 6 different types, as well as the pie/cake cutters, can opener, and peeler! I seriously love how well-made Kuhn Rikon products are (and I love that they all come in red!).I originally bought my first knife based on reviews of how well they cut EVERYTHING! And it's true, they work really well. I have some very expensive knives in my collection, and these work just as well. And they are red (I love having red in my kitchen!). I've used this knife on nearly everything I have to cut in the kitchen, and have been happy with the results. My first knife I've had for nearly 6 years, and it is still working amazingly well. I would probably say it's starting to dull a little bit, but I use that knife a lot, so that's not really a surprise. For example, I used to be able to gently set the blade on a tomato, and it would start slicing through like a hot knife on butter--now, I have to apply a little pressure for it to start cutting through the tomato. So really, they still work really well after all this time. I'm slowly starting to replace my other knives with these... the only thing slowing my full replacement is that not all the knives I want are in red yet (no matter, I'll just wait :) ).If you are looking for a sharp, stylish knife that won't break the bank, please look into this knife, and others that are in the Kuhn Rikon inventory. I haven't been disappointed by one yet.

Sharp Precise and Lightweight knife
These are the most sharpest and lightweight knives I have yet to own. It does the cutting swiftly without drag or food sticking to the blade. Much superior than the Kyocera ceramics or the German made knives I have owned. I cook every day so my knives really take a beating. I don't put these or any knives in the dishwasher and care for them by hand drying and putting them back in the plastic sleeve that comes with the knife. The Santoku knife is great for cutting onions, peppers, lettuce, cabbage and other larger vegetables . I have also used it to slice up chunks of cooked meat and chicken. I highly recommend these knives.

Great knife; super sharp.
Love these Kuhn Rikon knifes. They are very sharp and the sharpness seems to last a long time without re-sharpening.

Sharp knife and it also looks pretty nice. It'll stay sharp and true as long as you don't mistreat it. I always wash the knife with water and a little dish soap and he immediately dry it off with some paper towels or dish cloth and then put it back in its sheath.

These knives are awesome!
Kuhn Rikon makes fabulous knives and are great quality for the price. The handle is comfortable and I can use it for quite a length of time without my wrist and hand complaining. My kitchen is accented in red and we have a magnetic bar for all our knives to live on. We own 2 Kuhn Rikons now and they are attractive enough to keep out of the drawer and handy.I suspect these will last almost as long as more expensive knives, but at a fraction of the cost to do the same thing. 😁

Blade is a little small but seriously sharp
I'm used to using BIG knives as I was a Butcher by trade. As I love cooking I decided I would buy a Santoku knife and saw this on a list of recommendations as a budget Chef's Santoku which apparently lasts for a long time before needing sharpening. Well once I received it I decided to bleach it then debone a T-Bone steak so that the Sirloin could cook for longer than the fillet (I always sucker myself into buying T-Bones knowing this problem lol) and using this knife it was a doddle. This is one seriously sharp knife and although it doesn't have a tang which would encourage thoughts of better longevity it is seriously good value at the price I paid. There's not a lot more to say really other than again I will reiterate that for me the blade is a little small. If they did a larger version of this I would not hesitate to purchase the larger version, although for most people I should think this size is probably perfect. Hence full marks as my personal preference should by no way detract from the obvious quality of this knife.
