I'd give this case 10 stars if I could! I purchased it for a White Water Rafting trip in the Grand Canyon! It performed flawlessly! First of all, it's completely waterproof! There is even a membrane over the fingerprint sensor that works most of the time... when it's wet or your fingers are pruny, it's not really going to work, but reasonable dry, it works great! Then the fact that it has a lanyard connection means you can tether it to your wrist! I followed all the instructions to the letter. I even tested it in my pool for bubbles... (if you get bubbles, that means air is coming out, ie water could be going in... if this happens, pull it out and investigate) I had no fear of anything with this case on. My pictures from this trip were better than anyone's! I went swimming with it in Havasu canyon! Some people on the trip had the waterproof pouches with clear side for the camera, but those pouches degrade your shots and they are incredibly bulky. I can't recommend this case enough! I don't use it for normal every day stuff, but if you need dust and water protection, buy it now!!

I accidentally dropped my phone over 40 feet, landed screen down on the edge of a rock (see picture). I thought the Galaxy S9 was destroyed, not a scratch. The case took the brunt of the impact (see 2nd picture) big gouge in case screen, no damage to the phone.

It's a bit unnerving to take an $800 phone underwater, but I bought this case for my S9 to do just that. It's not perfect, but it helped me get some great photos while snorkeling in Maui. The photo quality is exceptional. Some tricks I learned along the way: First, when your hands are wet, you might as well forget about the fingerprint sensor - it won't work, so you have to use your PIN (the fingerprint sensor works fine when dry). Second, your pressure sensitive phone screen won't work at all underwater, so you have to make your camera settings while above water, and then dunk the phone for the photo(s). Third, your screen's button to capture the photo won't work underwater either, so you have to change your settings so that you can use your volume control to capture the photo. While you are at it, you might as well also change your phone settings so that a double click of the power button goes directly to your camera (that will save you a lot of time not having to enter your PIN.) 4th, you can't take your phone too deep (I think I might have gone down as much as 5 or 6 feet, but didn't want to push it any further than that. 5th, my phone kept vibrating while underwater. I'm not sure what that was from, but my guess is that the water pressure kept pressing on the finger print sensor and registering as an error in reading the fingerprint. Eventually, I learned to just ignore this. And last, the camera seemed to randomly change settings - sometimes it went into video mode, sometimes Panorama, sometimes selfie mode, etc. My guess here is that the water pressure on the screen was essentially pushing buttons, so there are some shots I missed because the camera was in a mode I didn't expect or want - and as I said above, you have to hold the camera above water to make changes, which is a pain.Overall, however, as a case that makes your phone an underwater camera, this was pretty AWESOME! All of the photos attached here were taken through this case, so as you can see, the optics of the case are good, and all you have to do is learn a few tricks.I do not use this as a daily use case though - I like a thinner case for that. But just for this sort of photography, this is a great price for an awesome tool.

I've had my case on for a few days now, so I figured I could leave a truthful review after usage. I really like the feel and the color of the case. I've been complimented on it a few times. I haven't dropped my phone yet, but it seems sturdy, so I think the case would protect it. It is pretty hard to get the case off once you put it on. I guess that is to help with the waterproofing. I haven't put it in water, because I will never do that to my phone on purpose lol. My only real problem is that my fingerprint scanner is super hard to use because the plastic over it sticks to it weird. I don't know if I got a bad case, but I hate it. It's become inconvenient enough that I've had to switch to using a passcode and I hate using a passcode. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars. But because it has my phone usage more difficult, it gets a 4.

5 stars! Overall: not too bulky, very sturdy & easy to hold on to. I've already dropped my phone 3 times and have zero damage & submerged in water to confirm waterproof! You will not be disappointed in this case!

Protected my phone well. I had no issues with leaks during use. The fingerprint reader is covered by a thin film that is easily scratched/stretched so you'll have to be careful with it. Not that really matters though because your fingerprint reader won't work on wet fingerprints so you'll have to enter your password if you been in the water. Also, the screencover is made of plastic so it will scratch easily. So, this is great short-term protection for your phone for water trips. However, I'm not sure how durable the phone case would be for everyday use.

The volume from the speaker is not compromised from the enclosed case and the ports have nice study seals to keep water out without those small pieces breaking off the case. It's NBD, but just know that the case creates a little space by the charging port so you might accidentally plug in the phone for charging then later found that it wasn't making contact with the charging port fully so it wasn't fast charging. But since that happened, we make sure the charging animation pop up before leaving the phone to charge.The case also has a nice feel and is smooth to touch. There are little white dots that look like they would light up but, full disclosure, they don't hahaThe free lanyard has also come in more handy than we thought! :)

Best case I've ever bought. High quality materials. Perfect fit! Do yourself a favor and get one! Will definitely be looking for their appropriate case when I upgrade my phone.
