Graduation Honor Cord Grad Days(Silver)

I loved the appearance of the chords! Unfortunately, several of them fell apart very easily. I purchased well in advance for graduation and didn't hand them out until the week of, and learned a valuable lesson the hard way. I had some of them even fall apart as students were walking down at graduation. It was terribly embarrassing and such an unfortunate outcome for the students to not have a chord to keep for memories sake. I am very disappointed and would NOT recommend anyone purchase these. It was not the conversations I was planning to have at graduation about how my programs honor chords fell apart. I could tell the students were really disappointed and I was mortified.

STORY TIMEI told my parents that I graduated with honors, and thanks to the FERPA act my parents have no legal way of checking without me showing them. (I majored in PR, they paid for my education in photoshop). I wore this for graduation pictures with my parents (cashed in on that grade point bonus and lifetime of gloating over my older and less intelligent siblings) then ditched it to walk the stage with my graduating class. My college graduation got canceled so I wanted some cords to take graduation photos in. I got 2 (orange and blue) and they worked well for pictures at the beach. There are some loose ends in the tassel, but since I was only going to use it for about an hour, I didn't mind. I would suggest hanging them for a couple of days before using them - they come folded and the kinks are noticeable for the first day or so. I guess you could iron them out, but hanging them from my door for a couple of days worked well too.

Honor cords are awarded (and sold) by specific departments at our high school. For the Health Science track, the students took a certification exam a week before graduation, so they didn't have time to pre-order gray/silver cords and instructed us to purchase them online. This cord was the same length/width/quality of other cords awarded, and the tassel stayed intact. Note: I'd just taken it out of the package for this photo, so it looks a little "wrinkled", but it smoothed out.

Woohoo, they came ahead of schedule! This is a nice product, however, I had to fix a couple of them because the tassle part came off during our honor's day ceremony and I did not have time to send them back. I ordered about 20 the first time and lost 2 from that bunch. This is my second time ordering so I will check the tassels before honor's day to ensure sturdiness.

Purchased 4 different cords as replacement cords. All came in a timely matter. The only thing that is that the orange cord is not as bright as the picture. It is more of a golden orange instead of a true orange. Other than that they are perfect.

Perfect. My graduation was canceled due to Covid so I ordered a cap/gown and accessories for pictures and a home family graduation celebration! This looks just like if you ordered it from your university / school.

DO NOT PULL ON THE TASSELS!!! The come off very easily
