NIV Pitt Minion Reference Bible, Black Goatskin Leather, Red-letter Text, NI446:XR

I am excited to finally have the updated NIV in a Pitt Minion edition.If you have not heard of the Cambridge Pitt Minion line of bibles, I would say that they are in a nutshell: An elegantly designed compact bible.NOTES:The size is roughly 4.5x7" and one inch thick. So the bible is small and handy but will not fit in my back jean pockets.The brown goatskin has a wonderful grain and smell. The cover is flexible but not floppy...I prefer this as it is easier to hold with one hand. The bible paper is thin, but feels strong. There is very little ghosting (at least to my eyes) with the text, and the print is dark and the red letters are a darker red than most other bibles out there.The text layout is very nice. Cambridge has always done a nice job picking elegant and readable fonts, and the center column references are not over done (I personally prefer limited references)...so there is decent room for the two column text.My edition has broken in very well and stays open in Genesis and Revelation.If you are in the market for a beautiful compact/personal size bible, and do not mind small (~7pt) font, then I recommend you pick up one of these.

The quality of the Bible is everything I expected, based on the many reviews out there on the internet and on Amazon. I hesitated purchasing a bit due to comments that have been made regarding font size, since I wear glasses. I took a leap and bought anyway. My progressive lenses do great! I'm totally pleased with my decision!

Excellent quality in all respects except paper is too easily damaged/creased,etc. and red print is light and not a genuine red. As a result the red text is more difficult to read or discern from the black text. The fonts produce a sharp easily read black text, but other high-quality compact Bibles are perhaps better choices.

I have owned this bible for a short time and absolutely love it. I find myself wanting to take it everywhere with me and really read it. The print is small but somehow very readable (probably due to the font, quality paper, and aligned text). If you need a portable bible or even just a high quality reader this is a great one. You will not be disappointed.

This is a beautifully bound Bible. The leather is soft and bendable without feeling flimsy. The binding lays flat for easy study and reading. The font is easy on the eyes and compact yet easy to read without my glasses. I love my new Bible!

Well bound and constructed Bible. The print was just a little small.

Very pleased with this Bible, not too big, not too small, fits into a medium size handbag. Lovely dark brown leather, fairly good size font and easy to read even for my ageing eyes. Useful concordance at the back. Came well packaged and quickly.

Great size, not cheap but HUGE quality and worth the extra. Font is small but the go anywhere size is a winner for me. Amazon delivery and packaging was exceptional as always
