Best chain I have ever known
Great bulletproof chain. Combined with some chain-l no. 5 and you have a chain that is as close to maintenance-free as bike chains get. Saw them at the 2011 NAHBS in Austin.

May not be a bad chain buts it's horrible on my bike
Ive got XT on my bike and it does not shift well. I do most of my own bike maintenance and could not get this chain dialed in. Figured I was doing something wrong and took it to my bike mechanic. He couldn't get it trimmed up with out jumps either. From there it just got worse.I live in SoCal, with lots of dry dirt and sand and this chain seized up, popped off and chain sucked, every chance it could during rides in and out of water and sand especially in climbs. I've never had problems with my other chains on this bike before, never! I tried this chain cause I liked the design, was silocone coated (which wore off after 3 rides), it had good reviews and the "quick link" feature is nice. Looks like I'll be going back to shimano (adding a quick link) or SRAM.

Good but not apparent to be better than standard chain
Like the Wipperman chains. This one was on sale briefly for less than the equivalent 9 speed version I have on my other bikes. Really cannot tell any advantage. Would not pay extra for the teflon coated version. Looks nice on my blue bike, though

exceptional
I'm very pleased with the function and appearance of this chain. Well-constructed and durable finish. Would highly recommend this series.

Good chain but Teflon wears off quickly
I don't know how many miles I have on it. It's lasted a few seasons of touring. I'd guess I'd call it average life. Quiet when new. Otherwise it's a typical chain after the teflon wears off. Shifts well on Ultegra 9. The Connex link is a big plus. Chain removal for cleaning or transport is easy.
