Cowboy Magic Rosewater Shampoo 16 Ounce

This stuff is amazing. AMAZING. I had purchased the Cowboy Magic Pet Conditioner a few months ago and was blown away by it. I have two very active pups who prefer digging outside to anything indoors. That leaves their fur tangled and neither are fond of the usual "detangle" regime that follows their frolics. After using the conditioner a few months, I discovered the shampoo and of course, had to give it a whirl too. Because the conditioner had seemed to leave a little film on the fur, I had begun using it after shampooing and then rinsing it, which worked well. Okay, now back to the shampoo. If I had bought the shampoo first, I probably wouldn't have bought the conditioner. The shampoo detangles while washing; leaves fur silky and clean. Both products leave the fur with a tangle resistance between use. Also, each leave the fur beautiful with a very healthy looking shine. The cost is a bit steep, but is worth it. (Shipping Caution: I'm only going to mention this because it might be worth your while to pick up rather than order the shampoo if you have that option. The flip-top lid is not secured. That is, there is no seal between the top of the bottle (like a flat piece of cardboard). This is a bottle design faux pas. Amazon recognized the potential snafu and enclosed the bottle in plastic. However, that wrapping was not effective to prevent the flip-top from opening during shipment, but did limit the amount of shampoo leak and contained it. Other than a bit of mess to clean up, the loss increased my product cost.)

I have a 3 year old Shih Tzu that is constantly getting (or I should say WAS) matted, especially on her ears. I was paying $40 a month for her to go to the groomers only to have her come home almost bald. I researched various different websites in search of a product that would make it easier fore to groom her at home. Needless to say, I found it!!I also purchased the Cowboy Magic shampoo but, I used the detangler first as I had read not to get the mats wet. I applied the Cowboy Magic detangler directly on the matted areas and it took approx 30 - 45 min with a formatting comb and slicker brush to get the mats out. Once they were out, I was able to easily run a flea comb through her hair.Afterwards, I bathed her using the Cowboy Magic shampoo and then blowed dry and reapplied the detangler. It left her silky soft and beautiful. It also made using dog clippers much easier to use as well. I also have a 4 year old with hair down to her hiney and she's VERY tender headed. I started using the detangler on her as well. I used the shampoo on her also and the results were AMAZING!!! Her hair had body, was not oily and a fine tooth comb went through her hair like a hot knife through butter. It left no residue of any kind.I'm disabled and, as a result of all the medications I have to take, my hair keeps getting thinner and thinner. I decided to use it on my own hair but, I was concerned about using the shampoo as I color my hair frequently (red no less which fades quite a bit)

Love using this for my pups!! I have a poodle and a golden doodle and it keeps their coats looking shiny and feeling soft! The scent is also wonderful. I will definitely be buying more from cowboy magic!

Wish I had gotten a different scent

I purchased this shampoo (and the conditioner) because it was highly rated on a few doggy Instagram accounts. However, after showering my puppy with it, my husband and I kept wondering why he smelt so bad. He didn't smell fresh and clean. We realized it was the smell of the shampoo! It has a very very subtle smell that isn't refreshing at all. I wonder bother with this. I got the Mango Tango from EarthBath and love it 100x more.

Yikes! I ordered this shampoo because I love it. What I did NOT like was opening the plastic mailing bag and finding a goopy mess! The bottle had been sent with nothing to secure the cap so about a third of the shampoo had leaked out and coated the inside of the bag! A little strip of tape to secure the cap would have been so simple for the seller to do. Well, live and learn :(

Product is great. Detangle our dogs and horses mane and tail.Shipping is the problem. The cap opens in transit and spills inside the envelope. It should be taped closed and maybe sent in a box.
