Ask those who know
This product was recommended to me by a younger woman who does make up for selected clients/events and who has a lovely, exotic look herself. She is a family friend who I sought out for make up advice for an upcoming special event. This product was among the variety that we selected to update and compliment my silver hair.

It's good, but....
I purchased this product because I am in love with Benefit's Gimme Brow and was hoping to find a MUCH cheaper alternative. Both my daughter and I use it and it gets expensive to have two of everything. This product comes in a much larger and longer tube. There is way more product in the tube. The dark brown color is not as ashey as the Benefit brand. It is reasonably priced. (1/3 the price if not more.) One of these tubes lasts twice as long at the Benefit brand. This product is good and does the trick, BUT I do have to admit I like the Benefit brand better. Here's why: The L'Oreal wand and brush are longer which makes it harder to apply. I kept hitting my eyelid with the wand and would have to clean it up. Because the brush is larger and not as compact as the Benefit brand, it makes it more difficult to easily apply. Also, because there is more product in the tube, it is wetter and sticks to the hairs in a different way. I would have to use a dry eyebrow brush after application to smooth out the color. I actually liked this stuff better after a few months of use, as it was dryer and easier to define my brows. If they redesigned the wand length and brush, I don't know that I could justify the higher priced brand. So, would I buy it again? Yes. BUT only if I can't afford Benefit....

Not the best color payoff on darker skin or darker brows...
I was a little disappointed when I was purchasing this that it didn't come in an outright dark colour, but the swatch shown made me believe that the color could be dark enough for my dark (NC 50) skin and dark eyebrows. I already have full eyebrows but I like to fill them in so they look a little darker and more polished. I had previously used the L'Oreal Brow Artist Sculpt in the color Dark Brunette and even though that can be a little intense, I liked it a lot. Since I didn't find that product in my desired color on Amazon, I decided to give this a try.My verdict is that I wish this came in a darker shade. So I wish there was a Dark shade for darker hair. The effect of this product on my brows is extremely natural, to the point that you can barely tell I've done my brows at all. It's okay for an everyday, "no-makeup" face. What I like about this is that it organizes my brows and sets them in place. The color itself is somewhere in between my skin tone and my hair color so it doesn't really add much thickness or darkening or anything, but by organizing my brows and setting them in place, it gives a slightly more polished look. Also, even though the color is too light, it doesn't read ashy or grey like Benefit's Gimme Brow Medium to Dark tended to. Another thing I like about this product is that it's really easy to use. There's no learning curve with this like there is with the Brow Artist Sculpt and the formula is also quite light unlike Benefit's Gimme Brow which is thick and goopy and can look really crazy really easily. I like the formula and I really like the wand, I just wish this came in a darker shade. This medium to dark tends more towards medium than dark.

Amazing, new Holy Grail :)
This is really great! I recommend using a spoolie to brush through your eyebrows in an upward direction and using 1-2 brush throughs of this brow mascara. I do not recommend layering this product or it gets kind of crusty. For sparser areas in the brows, I recommend filling in with a pencil. I usually use this brow mascara to keep my brows in place and make them look a little bit more full but I use a brow pencil to fill in the ends of my brows where they are a bit more sparse. If you want an inexpensive way to fill in your brows, I recommend ELF brow duo, but lately I have been gravitating toward the brow pencils that came in my ipsy bag subscription (https://www.ipsy.com/new?refer=2crw7). I definitely like using both together though because my brows tend to get unruly if I do not use a mascara to brush them into place and this will keep my brows in place for most of the day, if not all day. If I am short on time I will use the brow mascara on its own since it only takes a minute and my brows are pretty thick on their own (I use Vaseline to condition my brows at night which helps them stay thick). I recently bought the Maybelline Brow Drama to compare but I have not tried it yet so I will update my review after I try it to let you know which one I prefer.

Quick, simple, and looks great
I have naturally full eyebrows but they aren't very dark. I have tried eyebrow pencils, which work pretty well, however it's easy to get a little carried away. Sometimes I my eyebrows look great and other times I end up with scary "Joan Crawford" eyebrows. I've also tried filling them in with brown eye shadow. By using a lighter brown, I can make them look a little more subtle but it takes so frickin' long to do.I wanted to try something like this because it seemed like this would be easy to use and a be time saver. The only thing that worried me was the color. Would it be too dark? Would Joan Crawford be making an appearance? I purchased this in Medium-Dark. The answer: NO! This gel is just the right shade. It makes my brows look just a bit darker and brings out their shape, without being over the top. It's also a time saver, like I thought it would be. It just takes a minute or two to swipe across brows and get them shaped the way I want.Another plus is that this stuff lasts all day. I work 10 hour days and when I get home my eyebrows are still in place. Also, when I splashed water on my face to wash it, this stuff stayed put. It didn't come off until I used my cleansing cloth.

Tames, tidies, and covers my grey brows.
I was using Benefit's brow mascara prior to this one and wanted to try this one out after seeing someone give it a positive review it on YouTube. So far I really like it. It use it to cover some greys in my brows and to tame and tidy them up. The shade matches my medium to dark hair perfectly. I find it to be a wetter, thicker formula compared to Benefit's and it seems to be more of a warmer tone.I really like it and would buy it again based on how it is working so far.

This is my favourite brow gel
This is my favourite brow gel. I have tried many types of eyebrow products and this is my favourite. It is cheap and works wonderfully. It lasts for a very long time, darkens my brows, and kept them in place. This is so much better than some higher-end products. I'm currently in my third bottle. Will continue to repurchase. It arrives safely too.

This product is amazing, I have blonde eyebrows that are somewhat thin
This product is amazing, I have blonde eyebrows that are somewhat thin, and this mascara makes them twice the size, with a nice tint.Don't use this if you have really light hair, the color will be too dark. The brush is small, which makes application much easier. I've used the Maybelline Brow Drama, which has a large awkward brush, and this one is way better.
