AV Access 4K HDMI USB KVM Extender TCP/IP Over Single Cat5e/6/6a/7 up to 120M(390ft), 1080P@120Hz, Plug & Play, Keyboard & Mouse Over Network, Zero Latency, 3 Ports USB Hub, DIP up to 16 Sets

I've been using this extender for about a week, and it’s been rock solid so far. I'm running it at 1080P@120Hz over about 100m of CAT6 cable to my gaming setup, and the image quality is crystal clear with zero lag. The 3 USB ports on the receiver side are super handy — I have my mouse, keyboard, and a USB headset plugged in, and they all respond instantly. Setting it up was straightforward — no drivers, just plug and play. I like that the power connectors lock in place, so nothing gets accidentally unplugged. Also tested it with my PS5 and Xbox, and both worked flawlessly. If you need to control your PC or console remotely with smooth, high refresh video and stable USB connections, this is a solid choice.

Had a CCTV job that was wanting to have a large TV view the camera feeds. Tried other HDMI extenders over CAT6. Could not get the view through. The TV was a 52 inch Fire TV. Something in the translation of data was not compatable with the extender we normally use. Ordered this one and it was exsactly as it should be. View was clear and came though fast, no lag over a 180ft run. Really pleased to have found this extender... and will keep in mind for future installs on "Super Smart" TV's.

Initially I wanted to run this through a switch, but for some reason can't get a signal even though I set the dip switch to channel 1 on both ends. I made sure to power cycle both end points, but still no luck. Luckily, I had extra ports on the wall that can run directly, so I can confirm it works. Mouse/Keyboard/8bit Duo Ultimate 2 Controller AND display works. No latency noticed. Even while gaming. Resolution configuration could be better. I could only do 4K @ 30 Hz, 2K @ 30 Hz, 1080p @ (30 Hz, 60 Hz, 120 Hz). There is no in between. I was hoping to be able to do 2K @ 60Hz, but nope. It always goes down to 1080p when trying that resolution and speed. I ended up settling for 1080p @ 120Hz.

Pros: This extender has been great for me for providing a solid 1080p signal to my living room over a 100ft CAT6e cable. It comes with 3 USB 2.0 ports, I used a USB hub and it properly connected the 5 USB device I had connected. I've been able to game from my computer downstairs while sitting at the TV in the living with zero detected latency or color compression. I highly recommend this product. Cons: I did move my computer into a different room in the house, and once reconnected, the extender started cutting out every few seconds for about a full second or 2 before bringing the image back. I was past the 2 year warranty at this point (2.5 years), so I didn't bother reaching out for a warranty claim. Instead I tried a different extender that claimed 8k@60hz 4:4:4 lossless with HDMI 2.0. that one was horrible, had visible compression, even at 4k, and the USB ports were under powered and did not connect my devices. I returned that one and purchased another one of these. Once I made my new purchase, Actions Global US Inc, the seller of this product, reached out and provided me a refund for the purchase because of the defect first unit, even after warranty. Great customer service, great company.

Tested with multiple known-good cables (that are short and well below manufacturer's required lengths) and accessories that work perfectly with other devices, but not this KVM extender. To an HDMI monitor for testing: Blank black video with partial image flickering once every second for about 10ms. This was with both TX and RX independently powered with their AC transformers, multiple known-good short HDMI cables that each function fine when directly connected from PC to Monitor/TV, with multiple known-good CAT5e and CAT6 ethernet cables that also function elsewhere. To a receiver port that works with local devices and another KVM extender I tested today: Blank black video. Display is not recognized at all on the PC (unlike the monitor). USB: Some wired devices function (several wired mice), but no wireless USB dongles I tried worked, including a wireless mouse that works when directly connected to multiple computers, and a wireless Xbox controller adapter dongle that works when directly connected to my PC and a SteamLink. The USB ports are reportedly 2.0, but recommend 0.5A or less power draw; I was unable to confirm the exact power draw of my Razer wireless mouse dongle or the Xbox adapter, but I seriously doubt they're drawing more than 0.5A. Returning and trying another product.

I used the setup to move my noisy PC to a different location, over 50 feet away, and enable local keyboard, mouse, and MIDI / USB Keyboard / Monitors - silence is golden - and it worked great. Periodically we have to restart the system, it would take a minute to re-sync as outlined in the documentation, however, it delivered as outlined in the documentation. As it runs over IP, I could now enable over our wireless wifi6/7 - and it worked great as outlined for 4k at 60hz - letting me move equipment and connect to various systems remotely. Moving your music / noisy system to another place than your working area allows for a quiet workplace - that the KVM could be connected to multiple remote systems is just another win. The quality of the unit, and clear directions, as well as AV Access not being a fly by night place, they've been around for a while, and supported this and other products, which didn't require complex setup, drivers, etc. it just worked. Note: start the unit closest to the PC first, then turn on the "receiver" the unit to which you plug in your USB devices, I put a 4 port hub on it (keyboard, mouse, sound system, Webcam, beyond using the 3 usb ports) and all worked through same USB to LAN/IP connection :) = finally yes, standard HMDI port worked great. Has DIP switches so you can put multiple units into play. Works fine, besides being picky about what type of tv it will work with. Also a big delay in USB response which stops any possibility of using it for gaming.

To start off I think it should be mentioned that this KVM extender does use a substantial amount of bandwidth. For me, I have a gigabit service coming into my house from my ISP so this KVM extender isn't really usable over a gigabit switch (displays are constantly flickering, input not working, etc.) The issue is that these KVM extenders each need almost an entire gigabit worth of bandwidth allocated from the transceiver to the receiver. After connecting all KVM extenders to my 10 gigabit switch everything has been working flawlessly at 1080p 144Hz. If you have having issues with your screens flickering or input not working, try connecting the transceiver and receiver together directly. If the problem goes away then your switch doesn't have enough switching bandwidth to support the KVMs. Most gigabit switches also support 1gbps Tx/Rx on each port at the same time, so if you are running into flickering issues run a dedicated cable from each KVM to your switch. Also if you are connecting switches to switches, the trunk connection will likely have to be 10gbps especially if you are running multiple KVMs. I would also recommend using higher quality ethernet cables with these. I was having issues with a 50 meter flat ethernet cable (supposed to be cat 6) like low frame rate and flickering. I swapped out the cable and its definitely back to 1080p 144Hz. If you want to have your PC in another room or in a server rack in your closet, this is a really really slick setup. If you have been trying to do LAN gaming and you've been disappointed by Parsec and SteamLink, give this a try.

Works really well and straight forward setup. I'm using it to connect my racing sim to my PC from across the house through cat6a. Only problem is that it uses a lot of bandwidth, 1 Gigabit switch is just barely enough for 1080p 60hz and my USB devices. Doing anything else that requires the network on the same line causes the screen to flicker (such as discord screensharing). I'd imagine i'd need to upgrade my switches to 2.5 Gigabit to resolve this issue, but it would have been nice for the merchant to mention this, or perhaps better optimization of the KVM Extender. A direct connection of the extenders would also likely eliminate this issue, but that isn't possible with my network.

These are actually great quality and worked well. Want to extend an HDMI monitor, mmouse and keyboard, this worked. Great packaging, solid and take a small footprint.

HDEX80-KVM: Games and videos look great with this extender, however, if the screen is busy with small font text, the text becomes noticeably fuzzy with compression artifacts. I'm picky so that's a deal breaker for me. I'm going to instead buy the unit that does uncompressed video. The 4KEX100-KVM video quality is uncompressed and appears perfect. I run a 2560x1440 display at 60Hz. I ran a 50M Cat7 cable. Works great.

Use to run a 75ft Cat6 between front stage and control booth. My USB cam and USB Audio interface works together just fine, since this thing has two usb ports. All metal housing. Power supply has locking screw for added secure power connection.
