There seem to be mixed reviews on this product. But heres my take on it, it is unfortunate that Dead On markets this as a wrecking bar for daily construction work (having done some of this from time to time), it isn't. But this bar can be salvaged. If you repurpose it into an emergency tool for your car or bug out bag the $12 may not be a total waste. Its heavy and solid enough to make a good glass breaker, and a pry bar is always a handy thing to have in the case of an emergency. As for the Bug Out Bag its light and cheap which means that it won' hurt to leave it in a closet unused and it has enough utility to be useful if you need it.Basically if you need a quality wrecking bar for daily demolition work you may want to look somewhere else, but if you want a cheap emergency tool to leave in your car or emergency bag there are worse options so for $12 why not grab one?

If you are just looking to use this occasionally than you'll probably be ok with this product. Again if that is the case just buy a cheaper cats paw at your local hardware store. Basically this wants to be the Stilleto version but falls short just about everywhere but price (about $60 less than Stilleto). The Dead On Exhumer is heavy, sharp and the metal doesn't stand up to the test of time. I generally try to follow the rule that when it comes to tools buy the best and have them for life. This is simply NOT the best, or even close. I should have followed my own advise before buying.

Where else can you get a tool that does so many things and can also double as a weapon? Great to throw in a fanny pack since it's only 8" long. Very heavy, but you don't want cheap materials on something that can pry and yank nails out. Great tool for you bug out bag or car. Great price on Amazon too! If you're on the fence, pull the trigger and buy one. Many survivalists recommend this product.

This tool is just right for an urban setting! It's heavy and sturdy enough to take quite a beating, but not so big that it has to stay in the tool box. It's small enough that I can keep it in my backpack or laptop bag in case of an emergency, but long enough that it actually does it's job.

This scary looking nail puller is smaller than it looks, but a little paracord around the handle beefs it up to a nice comfortable grip. I keep in a bag for emergencies, so I have not really used it much. Seems solid though.

For my hands, it needs to be a bit longer. "Handle" wrapped with 550 lb ripcord and kept in the car, it'll probably never pull a nail, and you don't want to take it to a gunfight, but it's better than nothing!

This product has been a complete disappointment. My husband had the older Dead On for more than 7 years and it was great, unfortunately a friend lost it, so he decided to replace it with this product. He purchased two of these, one for him and one for his friend.The first day of use on the job, the tips of the claw on each side broke off into soft Doug Fir! Unbelievable! Well, he decided it must have been a fluke; fortunately he hadn't given the second to our friend yet, so he kept it for himself. Well, guess what? He only got one good day out of it before a tip broke off and embeded in his finger. Poor quality of steel and DANGEROUS!! And we just found out we are three days past the deadline for a full refund. Buyers beware! Worthless!

Works great and good Price. No Complaints. Very practical for a contractor. Probably one of the best pry bars on the market for professionals.

The tool itself is fantastic. I ordered one and liked it so much I ordered a second one. Only problem is that the second one never arrived and now they are supposedly "out of stock".
