Locking Single Trimmer Rack Racks - PK-6S

rack is built well. the only issues is the trimmer likes to rotate and ends up upside down. I tried flipping the weed eater around that seems to help .I have the lock side on the bottom and the powerhead on the other side. If the cushion was thicker I think it would hold the trimmer in place better.

I had to weld a support bar so it wouldn’t shake while I drive. It works well so far. The foam on the lock molds to your weedeater and starts molded overall well product

Easy to install and the easy to use, can't ask more than that. Only issue I've had is with the foam padding becoming compressed and allowing the trimmer to turn in transit.

It’s a high price option for such a niche item; but I have purchased two pairs of these trimmer racks. They have a degree of “versatility” because you can space and mount them to fit your application (equipment to be secured). They are easy to install and sturdy, as advertised. The paint/finish lasts (no rust). I have mounted them on squared-tubing and flat (angle-iron) rails on each of my trailers. They are rock solid. The locks are finicky and low quality, but they function. The padding on the inside of the “lockable” piece lasts maybe a week; with daily use. They were used to secure Echo PAS 225 power heads w/attachments.

Mounted this on a Big Max 5'x10' trailer to transport a Echo SRM-225 straight shaft Trimmer 15 miles one way to do my mothers place. I didn't want to be hauling the trimmer in the back of our Traverse all the time. I've used this once so far and drove bout 45 miles with the trimmer attached, driving over bumpy city roads and at highway speeds (60mph). This held the trimmer just fine, except the trimmer started rotating a little bit in the hanger. The foam pad on the hinge side appears to be permanently compressed from first use.It was nice that a lock was included to keep the hinge closed and the trimmer safe from growing a pair of legs and going with a passerby. I would suggest lubricating the lock because after a week the lock is starting to rust inside.

The only issue we have is our trailer has round railing and not the flat angle iron. I didn't realize this issue when I bought for my husband. Will have to work with a welder to figure out how to attach this item to the trailer. I was really excited about this and having a way to keep all the lawn equipment secured on the trailer so we didn't have to worry about it moving in transportation or someone stealing it. I had planned on purchasing some of the additional pieces for other equipment but until we figure out how to attach it will have to wait.This is geaxy duty metal and not a cheap plastic holder I expect it to perform and last for a long time once we get it mounted.

I gave this to my husband for Father's Day. He was very happy to get it and installed it on his trailer immediately. He said it's very convenient and works great! However, we have to agree with other reviews regarding the padlock. It did not work well at all. We replaced the lock with one of our own and it now works the way we need it to.

Good set up. The lock is cheap so you may want to pick up a better one.
