Mr. Masters (Mr. Series Bk 1)
This story pulled you in quick. The lively, vivacious, effervescent personality of the MFC that is Brielle draws you in. A lot of this story is in her point of view because it's her story.Of course, from the exerpt you get where the story will end up, but boy, you don't have a clue on the journey they had to go through to get there. You get to know all the characters fairly well, and pretty quick, and you appreciate how strong of a force the MFC is and how protective she is of the kids so much so, she has won them over in 3 weeks. There is hurt, heartache, past demons, clumsiness. She is a light in the children's life, and a light Julian Masters the MMC didn't know he needed.Mr. Masters is so broken and closed off to his children, and to love, but it's Brielle that starts to crack him open, and calls him out on his attitude.I have to say this is one of the few books I didn't want to put down. Most I can walk away and do what I need to do, and get back to it whenever, but not with this one. I needed to know how they would resolve their fights, and agruments, and when they finally got together ... it was so. very. good. it. was. HoT!Mr. Masters knows how to have mind blowing romps, and likes to get rough and dirty, and he's hung and thick, and Miss Brielle can't get enough of him when he's this good. Their chemistry sizzles. But it takes to almost 80% of the book for their huge falling out, and you wonder if for the first time, if the MMC, and the MFC won't be able to overcome their differences and work it out. It puts you on edge, and you suffer right along with them. There is spice, a lot of past demons, but with good supporting friends, with both parents of the MMC/MFC being supportive of their children. There is no cliffhanger. It has a HEA with a two year and three year exerpt so you can see where they end up.This book is - So GooD! But you might need some tissues.I am for sure reading the rest of the series!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this!
This was a lovely read! It had spice, tension, emotional depth, romance and fun! There were so many tropes included in this book that I love. To name a few: age gap, nanny/single dad and forced proximity.I loved Brielle. She was a force to be reckoned with. I loved how she put the kids first- in every way. The love that woman had for them was so beautiful! It made me love her even more. She’s absolutely one of my favorite heroines. Julian tested my patience. He was being an idiot so many times, but in the end he grew and saw things from different perspectives. Also, Sam has my entire heart. What a precious kid. Willow grew so much and I loved the relationship she developed with Bri.Absolutely recommend this book!

Julian and Brielle
Twenty five year old Brielle left Australia for London to get away from a troubled relationship and to start a new life. She decided to take a nanny’s position even though she was a qualified engineer.Julian Masters is a judge and the owner of a billion dollar corporation, and the single father of a teenage daughter and a small child. He doesn’t have a bad life, as he has two friends that he has had since his school days, but he’s closed off to love.Brielle came to London with a friend, so she expects to spend her free time with her girlfriend Emerson. Unfortunately the first time the two of them went out, Brielle came home practically black out drunk and made a pass at Mr. Masters. Brielle was so humiliated that she put in her three week notice, not only because of Mr. Masters delivering a terrible set down over her behavior, but he never seems happy about anything she does. Julian asks her to stay, and admits that his true anger was at himself because he was tempted by his attractive young nanny. He also tells her he will try not to be so disapproving because he can see that his children are happier for the first time in along time.Brielle draws Julian into activities with his children and they all start to form a family unit, just as Julian and Brielle have a growing attraction. Julian invites Brielle out to meet him at a very exclusive hotel, and they have a hot and fantastic night together. When they meet again at the house Julian is the same locked up guy he always is.This looked like it was going to be one of the books that was intended to be all about sex, but it’s really all about a family and the problems they have and how the nanny blends in and helps everyone. It’s a really good story and I had a difficult time stopping and going to sleep! This is well written and very modern and timely and yet very devoted to family values. Still hot, but woven into an excellent story.

Hilarious, sexy and heart wrenching
I can't say enough about this book. It is my number #1 recommendation to friends or book group requests for a funny, super hot, and heartwrenching story.Brielle leaves Australia for the UK to work as a nanny for a year. Mr. Julian Masters is a widower with a teenage daughter and a young son. Albeit having no nanny experience, Brielle begins working for the Masters' family. All manner of calamity and hilarity ensues as Brielle attempts to learn the ropes of her new position. The attraction between Brielle and Julian quickly develops into a sexy affair.Brielle was the most bubbly, loveable, kind, down-to-earth, and funny character. I want nothing more than to be her friend and hang with her. Julian is the complete opposite; he is serious, broody, and a bit of a snob. This is a classic opposites-attract scenario. The steam between them is off the charts (Swan knows how to write heart-palpitating smexy scenes!). The relationship that develops between the children and Brielle is genuine and adds a great side-story to the overall plot. The ups and downs of Julian and Brielle's story will have you in stitches laughing one chapter and crying the next.It is one of those books that has stuck with me, and one I wish I could re-read for the first time. TL Swan is a fabulous writer who transports you through the ups and downs of lust, and love.

I was not expecting it
It was amazing. Had a craving for single father romance and just wanted something easy and probably forgettable to get this out of my system. Now I’m gushing about this book and the main character to all my friends in our little book club. I might just make the one friend that doesn’t read in English get a copy, because there aren’t any in Portuguese and she just has to read it. It’s a refreshing romance I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did and for that I thank the author. Very well done!
