It's a great set

Comes with a carrying case and the stencils are rather thick.

For the first time period after buying these stencils, they sort of sat around and were shuffled away. But now after more geometry and math progression, kids are doing some pretty amazing interesting activities with all these zangy stencils. Cool.

I ordered this set in January as I was in a pinch working remotely and needed some isometric templates for a project I’ve been working on. I saw the review score and the green tint of the templates and naturally assumed these were traditional templates and reliable measuring tools. They are not. The items included in this set could be considered templates for children who draw.These templates are not made of the 0.03” flexible polymer that most templates from Alvin, Staedtler, Westcott, etc. are made of. They are made from a rigid polycarbonate, that’s more than 0.3” thick. That’s over 10x thicker than a drafting template, making these useless for creating accurate circles and ellipses to scale. If you drop these onto a tile floor from desktop height, it will break. Put it into the wrong pocket of your bag and it will break. I’ve only had them for 2 months and they are already badly scratched, some of the dimensions have already worn away as well. They’re difficult to see through due to all the handling marks from manufacturing. There’s also no way to ink with them, as only the French curve has an single side inking edge.I was able to finish my project, but these templates didn’t make it any easier. I’ve since packed all my older drafting templates into a kit for my travel bag, and bought new templates for the office. These weren’t very expensive, so I gave these to my niece and she’s happy with them. She’s in high school and has already broken 2 of them in her backpack. These are for drawing, not drafting or engineering.

I got too excited about all the shapes and didn't read the specs on these, so I was a little disappointed to find they are 2mm thick. But I like pretty much every other thing about them. They are super clear so you can see your work through them, and the thickness hasn't been a problem for any of my pens, markers or pencils so far. Plus, they come with a carrying case!There is some redundancy where they could have used new shapes instead of more circles, especially as this is a set so you're likely to have them all rather than carrying one precious stencil. The story here is quantity, and they kicked in some quality for fun.

Don’t get me wrong I know what I was buying, but I would have liked to see more polygons and less ovals. They all came in a holding pouch :)

This is a really cool set. Seems like decent quality and you get a bunch of them to choose from. I bought them just for some little art projects and such that I do, nothing serious and was really happy when they showed up.Comes with a nice sturdy feeling carry bag too with is nice. I am not sure what these are used for but it seems like some sort of engineering use or something as there are all sorts of mathematical looking markings on them but to be honest that makes them more intriguing to me. Great buy.

What more could you want? I don't think they missed a single template.
