(Formerly PAXPACK) Protective Silicone Case - Black - (Will Not Fit PAX 2)

This is a really innovative 3rd party add-on product that I instantly fell in love with. As any Pax user knows, aside from function, the Pax is sexy tech and really has a wonderful "hand feel", the anodized aluminum shell is smooth and slick and feels great.However, that slick exterior, while durable, is by no means indestructible....and it's slick!Enter the PaxPack. This thing is a flawless fit on both my authentic Ploom Paxs. It doesn't add any real bulk, protects it from minor drops, gives it some surface "grab" particularly in a pocket (i.e. less likely to slip out), and insulates the Pax from hand (more efficient in cold temps, holds heat in).I don't go in for 3rd party anything when something works as well as the Pax, but this is one exception I was very happy to find, so much that I bought a 2nd one for my 2nd spare (still in the box new).One slight con is that it will no longer fit in the official Ploom felt case for the Pax, but honestly I am used to it and carry it as-is with the PaxPack now and don't worry about the felt case.Also, I see other reviews indicating it's a very tight fit and going through some gyrations to get the case on their Pax. I had none of these issues and the PaxPack slid on to the Pax with ease, and is easy to remove as well, yet stays in place perfectly. I've removed it twice to carry in felt bag, put it back on with the same ease. It *could* be that some of the complaints are coming from folks who have a convincing counterfeit Pax, which may cause issue with tolerances, etc. My Paxs were purchased directly from Ploom, they are authentic, and these silicone cases fit perfectly in every way.This is a great buy and a great, practical, durable well-made product that is a perfect compliment to the Pax. Highly recommended from a vapesnob, at this price you have to at least try it, you'll love it.

The PaxPack isn't long enough to cover the Pax. About 1/8" of the Pax's sticking out. This cover will not protect the Pax if it is a direct fall on the oven, or mouthpiece end. The silicone sleeve should cover the entire Pax and be rolled over the edges slightly.Looks cool though.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this since many reviews said that this case didn't fit their Pax's. I decided to give it a go since it was a lot cheaper than everywhere else, got it today and love it! If you love your Pax you should get it too. It is a bit tight so it is a little bit difficult to put it on the Pax, but I highly recommend it.

Was hesitant to order this product at first but I said why not its just in between that 10-20 dollar mark, anyways a quick review.The Pros-- Adds grip to the pax!- Hole for the LED's on the pax was properly cut and placed.- Tight fit for the first week- Keeps my hands from getting to hotThe Cons-- Lost its tightness after a week, never took it off so don't know how it became so lose- Attracts and clings onto dust- Pax slides out on its own due to loss of tightness.

I really like this case for my pax. It'll do a great job protecting it from shock damage and scratches if I drop it. The only reason this gets a 4 star is because it cost a lot for just a case but if its protecting a $250 device then I can understand. Also it is soooo hard to get on.TIPS TO GET IT ON:For me I just let the device heat up a little and then closed the mouth piece. placed the pax on my wood desk mouth piece side down and slid the case on with all my force. You will eventually get it. Once its on the opening may not be lined up with the light, all you have to do is put it on the charger and carefully twist it slowly until the opening lines up with the light.

Perfect. A little tough getting all the way on, but not too bad. Looks great, protects it and provides a solid grip without adding too much thickness. Really great product!

Great item, makes it much easier to hold when hot, fits nice and tight
